haven't listened to it yet but it should be good

well i've set about digesting or discarding every single album i have before getting any more
i'm down to 14 albums but i'd sure love to get some new death metal.

Listened to Goremageddon (The Saw and Carnage Done) at work the other day and was like, "oh ****, i forgot how amazing Aborted is" I love the guitar solos on that album.

goremageddon is one of the best names for a death metal album ever

its also one of the better albums in death metal along with its title, IMO

i haven't listened to it since i was like 15 and didn't like death metal so i'll have to try it again

has anyone else heard the new sons of aurelius album? it's not bad but why are people saying they are so revolutionary when they just sound like the black dahlia murder and decrepit birth put together?

idk, from what i heard they weren't anything special

they rule when they keep their riffs at a moderate tempo, which unfortunately isn't nearly enough. whole album is streaming here:

they sound awesome when they are doing anything clean or mid-tempo DM, but whenever the hyperblasts come in it sounds like they listen to a lot of brain drill only not quite as silly

obviously you just don't understand the excellence of northern hyperblasts
