OMG!

The worst thing ever just happened.

I was talking to my mom about how I have a bunch of random crap on my playlist, and when I went to show her, the first thing that came up was some ****.

God that was horrible.
At least you can laugh at yourself, haha.

I would like to know how she reacted.

Him: OMFG Crazy Train and Sweet Child of Mine are the same! The intro riffs are the same!

Me: No, Crazy Train begins with an F# and Sweet Child Of Mine begins with a D an octave higher.

Him: So just play it they're the same thing

Me: Not it's not, your a dumbshit.

Him: But dude they're the same

I don't own any, no. I probably will get around to buying something by them eventually, but I don't think I want anything now.

"CHRISTO-PHER! SHAME ON YOU FOR BEING TWENTY YEARS OLD AND WATCHING DIRTY MOVIES!":mad::mad:
She was like "Oh, so when you hit random, you get naked girls?"

And I quickly hit next again, and luckily a song came up.

It was a track with a Moog being used, and I quickly changed the subject by saying that the creator of the Moog just died.

:-/

Edit: And thanks Jom :) And regarding your question, yes you are the only one.

Edit2: Also, my name is Christian not Christopher

QTF is a horrible abreviation to be honest. It is already more annoying than ITT and it really should die before it gets as big as ITT.

My girlfriend asked me to get her into some new bands, and I asked her what exactly she wanted.

She said inspiring songs that aren't too slow, so any suggestions?

So far I have:

Jeff Buckley - Eternal Life
Elbow - Forget Myself
The Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)

It's funny how you angst about acronyms, yet use one in your NP line. :p

I'm going to go see Constant Gardner with my girlfriend.

See ya.

Steerpike 10-06-2005 06:05 PM

Well, my friend Joe is hell-bent on his sophomoric vengeance plan. I figure tonight is when I can get that girl Veronica's number, though. Funny thing is, Joe (a very, very gay man) knew that she has the type of look I really go for (the dark, sensual beauty, enchantress if you will) and he was stunned that not only did I keep my composure, but was handling myself as well as I did in front of her, getting her laughing and all. I took that as compliment. :)

Ooooo, enchantress. Don't find many of those...

Hope it ends up well.

Lord Abortion 10-06-2005 06:26 PM

Good on you Alex!

The girl I like thinks I am unhinged, she heard me talking to myself and then she asked my friend about it, and she went "Oh, no, that's just Ollie..."
My grin is also going from dashing to manic now, when I smile at her as we pass in corridors.

and it seems that other girls are liking me too, work wise, the girl Who liked me "in that way" as she put it yesterday, whom I never asked out because of my inherent cowardice, and is now going out with a monkey in a suit admitted she had been interested.
That was an awkward conversation.

What store? Winn-dixie?

You going to the Trans Siberian Orchestra show in Jackson?

jpj 10-06-2005 07:17 PM

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is coming here too, but I'm afraid I may have to pass it up if I want to see Derek Trucks, Gov't Mule, and Phil Lesh & Friends.

Kingofdudes 10-06-2005 07:22 PM

They just built a Hard Rock Hotle in Biloxi before the hurricane. So many good bands were actually gonna come through, now im gonna have to wait a few years to go to some shows :-/
