I'll give the USA credit for the blues. Somebody had to make black people's lives terrible so that they could write those songs.
.......and Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, and R&B. |
/not a country and bluegrass fan although some of it is good.
|
Part of me says The Who, the rest of me says American.
|
I thought Steppenwolf was German. Guess not.
|
I vote blues first, England next.
|
America, FUCK YEAH
America, FUCK YEAH America, FUCK YEAH :) |
Yea so basically America dominates England.
Anyone up for some trading/uploading? |
I thought Steppenwolf was German. Guess not.
 Too bad there are no Brits to defend their case. I love Folk/Country Rock/Jam Bands, but there is also a a soft spot for Yes, Queen, The Stones, The Who, Leppelin, and, of course, more than anyone, The Beatles |
It's better that way, we can make fun of them with no retaliation.

Sure, what are you looking for?

Nah, I'm good for music right now. np: Neil Young - Harvest Moon. I like this song :) |

Cool, thanks a lot, I'll have to upload it tomorrow though.
Nah, I'm good for music right now.
np: Neil Young - Harvest Moon. I like this song :)
I didn't follow the entire dicussion back, but I might as well start another one on this thread. I don't like Neil Young alone that much. I don't know why. I have his album, Harvest, or whatever it's called - I'm not completely sure, I don't listen to it much..it's the one with Heart of Gold. The only songs I like are Heart of Gold and Old Man, or whatever the title may be. I much prefer Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, over Young going solo, but that pretty much is the same for all soloist carreers, post-band breakup, like Clapton, both Page and Plant, et cetera. |
I do love Neil Young's solo music, but I don't really listen to it that much. I'd rather put on some CSNY, just like you said.
|
I'd rather listen to CSN than CSNY, and rather listen to them instead of Neil Young. Although Helpless with Joni Mitchell on The Last Waltz was a lot better than his version on Deja Vu.
|
CSNY = Neil solo > CSN

Clapton i could go either way on. |
dammit what happened to my avatar??
|
Clapton was the best with Cream, Derek and the Dominoes and the Bluesbreakers.
