Ugh..I'm failing school. I'm putting in more effort than I ever have before, and I'm still falling tons short.

I've basically got to pass my Math test tomorrow with 80%+ to pass this term..I've got to pass my Chem. test on Wednsday with a 85%+ to pass this term, and I've got to pass my next Bio. test with a 98%+ or I'm going to fail this term.

Ugh..:(

Any suggestions on music to let myself wallow away in my sorrows? :(

Dead Star 10-16-2006 08:05 PM

Study Study Study Stew.

Jessizzle 10-16-2006 08:06 PM

Surtr 10-16-2006 08:07 PM

I'm bloody well done with studying tonight. I've been going at it all afternoon. I'm so sick of it.

My mindset is weather it and I'll do better next semester so eh.

Dead Star 10-16-2006 08:14 PM

YOu guys get graded weird.

Surtr 10-16-2006 08:17 PM

We get judged, right in our faces.

All our lives we're told, don't judge people. And then *BAM* they judge us.

Eliminator 10-16-2006 08:18 PM

Permanent Solution 10-16-2006 08:19 PM

Everyone judges everyone.

cbmartinez 10-16-2006 08:19 PM

I'm having a rough time balancing my three AP classes. AP Gov is harder than I expected.

Jessizzle 10-16-2006 08:21 PM

Eliminator 10-16-2006 08:22 PM

ZaaR 10-16-2006 08:23 PM

Eliminator 10-16-2006 08:24 PM

No Grad 10 science for you!

I was snooping around on Myspace, and found one band that my old band played a show with, supported Heavens (Matt Skiba's side project for those who don't know).

Makes me think what my band could have done :(

Permanent Solution 10-16-2006 09:16 PM

If you have a 3 credit hour course that meets 1 hour, 1 day a week, does that just mean there's insane out of class work? Thoughts?

ZaaR 10-16-2006 09:20 PM

i don't understand what you just said

Permanent Solution 10-16-2006 09:25 PM

At uni, classes are given a credit hour amount to weight how much time is spent in the classroom and labs. A three credit hour class is usually given to a class meeting 2-4 hours per week. This class I might register for is 1 hour per week. SO I'm wondering if it's just insane outside of class work or not.

WHAT?!

How the hell does that work

One one hour class one day a week should equal one credit... not three.

ZaaR 10-16-2006 09:27 PM

oh, well there are is this school around the corner from me where these two older kids i know go, and it's 4 hour a week maximum, but you have to do ALL the course work at home

Permanent Solution 10-16-2006 09:30 PM

I know! So if there's no catch I'm so gonna take it because it's honors and looks interesting too! (I only noticed it was only 1 hour after adding it to my planner lol)

Zach (right? :-\): Haha, I take like 3 4 credit hour classes every sem :(

Jom 10-16-2006 09:54 PM

So apparently there was a question posed here ITT that I was supposed to answer

Permanent Solution 10-16-2006 09:57 PM

The question is if we think this is some crazy glitch, if there's just going to be insane outside of class work, or if the uni made some sort of error.

Jom 10-16-2006 09:58 PM

ratemyprofessors.com?

You could ask in the uni's blog or something, too.

Permanent Solution 10-16-2006 10:00 PM

Unis have blogs?

For serious?

Jom 10-16-2006 10:04 PM

Yeah.

Ours is on LiveJournal

EDIT: there is a far more formal one elsewhere, but nobody ever updates it because every single uni kid at my uni has an LJ

Dinosawesome 10-16-2006 10:05 PM

My exams start in 3 days :(

Hahaha, that's crazy. I think my school's too large for a unified blog :-\

(We're only second biggest now though oh noes!)
