I only have MSN :( I'm stuck in the stone age. |
I think I play the most songs in E and A. I'll probalby get an E one to start.
I used to mostly play in E and especially A when I considered myself more of a blues guitarist. Now it's mostly G, D, and C. I do not feel good at all right now. I hope my friends don't show up so I can just lay around tonight. Although I'm making a major breakthrough in my relationship with my hopefully future girlfriend, so I kinda wanna see her tonight. Now I don't know what to do. :( |

E is nice and high though, if you are going for that Bob Dylan sound ...so which one did you get? |
I kind of taught myself how to play Spoonful on harmonica. Some resemblance. I'm going to have to fool around with it a little more to make it more accurate. Yes I'm going to have to relate pretty much all of my posts for a while to Cream. Sorry guys you'll have to deal with it.

When did/will you go? I was so psyched when I learned Spoonful, I played it to the recording and realized that it was in the wrong key. All a part of growing up, I guess |

How many pages back did he brag about it? I could use a good read
How many pages back did he brag about it? I could use a good read
I made a thread on it. Should still be on the first page. I'll find the link in a minute. Spoonful's fun to play even though I haven't quite mastered it yet. Edit- Here's the link- http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=407261 |
Listened to Quadrophenia for the second time today, it has really grown on me. The Punk and The Godfather is my favorite song on there, as well as Quadrophenia itself and maybe Love Reign Oer Me.
|
I've got to get that album. Then again I have some albums that I still haven't gotten around to listening to. I need more money yet I need more free time. This is quite the dilemma:(

Was anyone else tempted to put Keith Richards for a nominee as Greatest Vocalist?
|

This thread was in the ditch. |
 Keith has a really mediocre voice oo everything I've ever heard by him...definitely not someone I'd put on my list, to be honest. I need to go back and edit mine, actually

I should throw my vote(s) in.
/goes to find thread
It shouldn't hard to find considering it's stickied at the top of the page.
Mr. Spaceman is the best Byrds song..
Good song, but I'm gonna have to go with no on this one. |
I need to get more Byrds material.
|
Who else nominated Bob Dylan?
|
Yay, I finally found:
Wonderwall Music Four Way Street :) I'm also getting: Cloud Nine Concert For George |
Damn, it has to be R & M. I was gonna nominate Marvin Gaye.
|

Such as? I don't think any one can really be that bad, I mean it is the all around package included so the worst singers can make up with stage antics and frontman appeal. I'm actually pretty happy with the nominee's and the way its being run, minus the whole bias towards Green Day. |

The Death Metal people...I hate to be a Beatles fanboy, but Lennon was great. |
Neil Young's singing on Four Way Street is amazing. He sings Cowgirl In The Sand perfectly.

I believe he said that stage presence and the like wasn't to be a factor, just the voice...
This is to judge a person's vocal talents and not their stage presence
MED, I WANT CALIFORNIA wartsandall@gmail.com I nominated Bob Dylan. Keith Richards can't sing. |
Bob Dylan was good, but I don't think his range was beyond an octave
He didn't have a technically great voice, not by any means, but I think his voice was unique and added so much to his music. |

I nominated Bob Dylan. Keith Richards can't sing.
Oh wow, I miss read that... I feel dumb now. I still think Keith has a nice voice, now that its all about vocals I wouldn't nominate him but I think he has a Bob Dylan type voice thats nothing special but IMO it sounds nice. I'm on a uphill battle in this one. |
