But if we're talking about stoners from 80's comedies then he does.

90's and not quite stoners but whatever On the subject of stoners, Jay and Silent Bob win |
Jay and Silent Bob rule, but no one even begins to touch Spicoli.
Cheech and Chong are the best stoners.

MLIW is in the new AP mag.
things I learned at last night's Winter Solstice/Terror/Bury Your Dead/August Burns Red/Bloodlined Calligraphy/Scars of Tomorrow show. Bury Your Dead has some funnyyyy dudes. Terror is amazing live Having a 250 pound guy stage dive on your neck and knock you senseless to the ground, really isn't that much fun The Terror guitarist has gold fronts |
SAW II was awesome.

Yeah. |
Terror played Overcome last, the place just went nuts. I am not exaggerating when I say that there were stage dives nonstop. It was great, and I really need to pick up their cd's now.
I was crazy when they played What Have We Done
I'm passing on their show tonight.
It's crazy here when they walk on stage.
These are the only good songs they played:
Bridges and Gaps Gun For Hire More Than Heros Rethink, Return
Ghey. |

I saw it recently too. I loved it.
I still haven't seen it.
It is a really good movie. My aunt who is a teacher shows it to her class when they talk about racism and stuff.
What grade does she teach?
All high school grades, so she has classes ranging from 9-12 depending on what classes she is schedualled for that year.

The show today was supposed to start at 6:30. Me and my friends got together at about 7, and started walking in the direction we thought the house was in. It turns out, the directions we got were ****ed, and it would have taken a lot longer to get where we were supposed to start from, than it was from our rooms to the house. So we're walking around for about half an hour with no clue where we are, and luckily we see someone we know who was driving home. We were still confused about the directions so we asked the guy to take us to where the directions told us to start from. We drove around for a bit trying to find it, but that wasn't turning out so good. Finally, the guy driving us asked where we were trying to get to, and it turns out it was only a few blocks south of campus, so he dropped us off there at about 7:45.
Where Eagles Dare was setting up when we got there, so we talked to the guy who owned the house. He said that 7 Generations didn't come because the drummer broke his hand, and the other band wasn't coming either. Where Eagles Dare played pretty good, and although I don't like their vocals too much, their guitarist and drummer were awesome. We were all pretty sketched out when we got there because everyone was totally crusty, but Where Eagles Dare started their set with a New Direction cover, so the three of us got into it right off. At the end of their show, they covered Carpe Diem by the Nerve Agents, and my friend went insane. He was the only one their who knew the lyrics, and the singer got tired off trying to take the mic away from him, and let him finish it off. When the next band was setting up, we went outside, and talked to the guys who own the house. It turns out, there's tension between the people in the provo scene, and those in the slc scene. The way they told it, anyone from Provo shouldn't expect to walk away from a show in slc, alive. They said that the night before, the singer from the other band that was supposed to play at this show brought a gun, and there was a huge fight. The guys who owned the house are in the band Paralax, and that's the band who's singer died in the cave this summer, but when they played shows in slc, he'd always start talking **** about the mormons, and start fights. None of these guys were edge, and they did the typical thing about how everyone who is edge has a vendetta against them, blah blah blah. They were really nice dudes, but we could all sort of tell that they were talking out of their asses. Paralax was going to play instrumentally, but we left and watched the chris farley snl. So yeah, we're still going to see With Honor, mliw, the distance, this is hell. Wish me luck in not getting stabbed. |
