Yeah I prefer pcs for gaming, but its too expensive to keep upgrading. Ill buy new stuff next year when vistas out.

I like the fact that all the porcupine tree I download is in a lossless or even surround sound format (in the case of in absentia).

I like the new stuff (IA and Deadwing) and the old stuff (moonloop, metanoia, still need to get signify, I here its good) the best.

Futuro 09-03-2006 12:38 AM

Millard Mulch is ****ing great.

Here is his cover of Higher by Creed. Pentuplets and septuplets included ;)

You've got the PC version right? Load that and let's play some GTA.

Pick a server and post it on here.

Anyone who has Virgil Donati, Morgan Agren, and Nick D'Virgilio All solo on the same song has to be awsome.
Haha wtf

_Wrathchild_ 09-03-2006 12:57 AM

Maybe you could include him in the "Stuff you haven't heard before" uploads sometime in the future?

He is my next. Im uploading his 3 cd 4 hour album.

He also covers a mudvayne song. Haha He is making fun of them for thinking they are technical  His version is INSANE.

_Wrathchild_ 09-03-2006 01:00 AM

Excellent.
I love that stuff you haven't heard before thing. New obscure music ftw.

I didnt like lightbuld sun as much as other albums
I was looking on PT's website and they havent even sold half a million albums total. Rather suprising if you ask me.

_Wrathchild_ 09-03-2006 01:25 AM

I quite like Lightbulb Sun. I wouldn't say it's my favourite though...I'm not sure which one would be. I just made it my user title a long time ago on my old account before it went all screwy and I couldn't be arsed to think of a new one.

Now that I think about it though...maybe Signify would be my favourite. Meh, too hard to choose.

Futuro 09-03-2006 01:28 AM

Lightbulb Sun is definetly my personal favorite.

And Deadwing is probably next.

_Wrathchild_ 09-03-2006 01:30 AM

Futuro, you have like a bunch of PT albums right? Which one would you recommend I get next?

I already have:
The Sky Moves Sideways
Stupid Dream
Lightbulb Sun
Signify
In Absentia
Deadwing

If your not into that really trippy stuff, I would say Up the Downstair.

_Wrathchild_ 09-03-2006 01:38 AM

Alrighty, thanks. I was thinking probably Voyage 34, as I've heard its an essential album. I just haven't heard a whole lot of songs aside from the ones on the albums I already have, so I was unsure of what to check out next.

Hmm...sleep time now.

Aaron 09-03-2006 01:41 AM

hey guys, howsit going?

Janeway 09-03-2006 01:46 AM

Uuuuugh.

I am never drinking again. Ever.
I managed to sneak 3 jack'n'cokes, one whiskey/coffee, a bottle of some flavoured vodka, and a huge cup of rum and punch. I'm sick as hell now.
Fuck.

Aaron 09-03-2006 01:48 AM

cause you mixed drinks. stay on one - stay strong.

Janeway 09-03-2006 01:54 AM

I didn't want to be noticable, though.

Seafroggys 09-03-2006 01:55 AM

Or you could just not drink, like I do.

Just drink water along with the alcohol. Totally stops hangovers.

Aaron 09-03-2006 02:08 AM

yeah alternating water every second drink works wonders

derryk 09-03-2006 02:14 AM

Aaron, where did (DB)Jim go? What happened?

Seafroggys 09-03-2006 02:16 AM

and epi for that matter.

Meh, they both got locked in the closet. Probably dead by now.

derryk 09-03-2006 02:29 AM

epi didn't post as much though.. he was sort of there for me. Comic relief maybe..

Seafroggys 09-03-2006 02:43 AM

i always wondered why the hell epi became a mod. I never even noticed him until his Basa drum came in.

_R2D2_ 09-03-2006 03:13 AM

can you lose your position as mod if you're not active enough? damo is the only one around.

EDIT: goodnight mx

MatthewMeredith 09-03-2006 03:23 AM

Hey so totally off topic, but I'm totally in a great mood right now...

My birthday party was a few nights ago because all my friends are leaving to another university, and I wanted to party with them before they left. So here's how the night went

*Sidenote: My brother folded down the back seats of his Volvo station wagon and put a mattress in the back. This will come into play later, just wait*

A few (12) friends came over. We drank, at, and sat in the hot tub. Pretty much everyone decided to go for a trek up to Wendy's.

I wasn't afraid.

My girlfriend and I kind of hung back from the big group (for obvious reasons) and eventually, they were about 4 blocks ahead. Out of no where, my two friends come walking back, the short one practically carrying the big (6'8", 250 pounds, no joke). I'm thinking he's drunk off his rocker or something.

Turns out he fell with a beer bottle in his hand and cut it up. His shorts were absolutely covered in blood. Luckily, the shorter of the two is a life guard so he wrapped it up with a sock and the bleeding stopped.

After a half hour walk getting him home, and another half hour cleaning him up, I figure I'll just head back out and meet up with everyone else. For the next three hours, I wandered aimlessly, passed in a church ditch, bus stop, and the side of the road.

Finally, I see everyone waaaay at the bottom of this hill heading towards my house. I decide to run there. Amazingly, I made it there in one piece, and FINALLY caught up with them (a block from my house).

This is where the station wagon comes into play. I'll skip the details.

Long story long, it was a killer night. Just thought I'd let everyone know :p

MatthewMeredith 09-03-2006 03:27 AM

Double post, but it is totally a different story.

Tonight was the second anual Lobster-Fest at our friends house. I had two. They were delicioius.

Then I met this guy who is an amaazing guitar player/singer. I jammed with him for a while on the djembe, and he told me that he is looking for a drummer for his next album. That's right folks you heard me right; his NEXT ALBUM!

Holy **** so he got my number, and he only lives like a two hour drive from my house! Fuck yeah!

Woot okay well I'll let everyone get on with their conversations now.

maniac0796 09-03-2006 04:24 AM

What happened with the station wagon? You all had a massive orgy?

It was carnival/fair last night, i tink i spent about £40 on rides. I had to pay for two other people.... Scabs

Drum Phil 09-03-2006 06:33 AM

I questioned the mods before and epi's here a lot apparently, just doesnt post.

Jezen 09-03-2006 08:47 AM

I finally moved in to St Peter's Basin!!! WOOOOO!!!!

Oh yeah, its really close to St Anthony's.

I'd like Lightbulb Sun more if it had Gavin Harrison on it, but his playing on In Absentia makes that my favourite album.

I'm going to see them later this month, too :D
