PinkFreud they just played the version of 5:15 with the Entwistle solo you always talk about on Who TV. Man Entwistle is amazing. I need that DVD. That was sick.
isnt it amazing? im not a huge fan of his fuzzy tone on that one, but he's so amaingly talented that i can excuse it.

its long too. haha. critics bashed it when that dvd came out. idiots.

PinkFreud 10-25-2005 07:30 PM

PinkFreud 10-25-2005 07:37 PM

Krabsworth 10-25-2005 08:22 PM
nooooooo Who TV is playing Sister Disco. Worst nightmare come true. Sister Disco actually isn't that bad but disco + The Who are not a very good combination.

Welcome to the forums supercheech. A ton of modern bands are influenced by classic rock bands, but you have to remember that classic rock bands had a ton of influences too. Classic rock didn't just appear out of thin air.
noe doodz all of teh classic rawkers invented dere own music!

Magicbus, what's your favorite Scientist album? I'm looking to buy one.

Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires is my favorite. It's the music from GTA3, in case you've played that.

PinkFreud 10-25-2005 09:38 PM

yes! vocalists comp is up and running. i want to see some support for the people i nominated. and remember, even if theyve been mentioned, mention them again. the vocalists with the most votes get in.

carl wilson
art garfunkel

those are two im not expecting much support for. so help them out.

I"d think the sex appeal would be Roger, though from a straight guy's perspective, John and Keith weren't too bad looking. Pete went the right way in growing his beard ;)

14 innings!!!! You'd think they'd be finished by now I still got some books to crack and some pot to smoke. :-/

"Calvery" by the Quicksliver Messenger Service is absoultly fantastic! The whole Happy Trails album is good really but "Calvery" stands out as epic. Can't believe I haven't listined to it more. Such a display of psychedelic guitar should be regarded as a classic!

FUCK!!! The Sox just hit a home run....

/turns off TV

Broken Arrow 10-26-2005 12:05 PM

I thought you quite smoking?

Yeah, I listened to Happy Trails yesterday. Such a great album.

Has anyone who has heard Praire Wind noticed that in "No Wonder" his sings about Chris Rock in one line?

jpj 10-26-2005 01:06 PM

JonG, I'm sorry I didn't upload the Jazz is Dead. My computer was like freaking out, I don't know what the deal was, I'm not sure if it's fixed or not. Right now I'm on the computer at my dad's where I have no music.

I just had a very professional blues jam. I was playing along with the Rainbow Concert and the couple jam songs at the end of All Things Must Pass. That's when I decided I need more blues rock jammable albums. Any suggestions?

NP: George Harrison - Out Of The Blue

Krabsworth 10-26-2005 03:45 PM

Pink Freud, you post at Harmony Centrall too?

Robo, I'm very jealous :( But happy for you at the same time. You HAVE to tell us how it is.

I'm kinda worried :( I've got my Halloween plans all planned out, but I have no-one to go with. If I'm all crafty like, I might get invited to a party.

np: James Taylor - How Sweet It Is. This is actually a Marvin Gaye cover

Whoever sent out that Merry Axemas CD (Pink Freud I think) thanks a bunch, I love Christmas songs! I'm so cheesy.

I just learned how to play some Halloween songs on my bass, pretty cool, huh?
