I'm seeing Terror in January, but I've never actually listened to them. How about you guys name 10 or 15 songs they're likely to play, like a Cliff's Notes on getting into them?
Yo.

BuddyBigsby 12-25-2006 04:33 AM

How the **** have you not heard Terror?

AndreTheHyena 12-25-2006 05:21 AM

I've heard them, but I haven't really listened to them. I'm not really immersed in the hardcore scene, I just listen to what sticks out, and usually that just happens by chance.

Or I'm just Amish.

Lazybassplr56 12-26-2006 12:08 PM

Just finally got to listen to the new Sabertooth Zombie because I got it for Christmas, holy shit could be a contender for album of the year.

40 oz 2 freedom 12-27-2006 12:23 PM

Got a 33 on the ACT

RetiredAt21 12-27-2006 07:00 PM

Is that bad?

cbmartinez 12-27-2006 08:48 PM

That's actually pretty good if I remember correctly.

RetiredAt21 12-27-2006 09:44 PM

Oh. I just figured...33, y'know.

whiteminority 12-28-2006 08:11 AM
Got a 33 on the ACT
Justin the highest score you can get on the ACT is a 36.

RetiredAt21 12-28-2006 11:37 AM

Oh, wow. Way to go, Pat. You're mad smart.

faith and fiction 12-28-2006 02:04 PM

I finally went to this head shop near me last night and they ended up not only having a rad selection in pieces and bongs but they also had some awesome graffiti supplies
Got a 33 on the ACT
What year are you? I got a 32 my junior year and never bothered taking it again. Good job, man.

Can anyone send me War is Hell Redux, by the Warriors? Apparently NO ONE has it on soulseek.

bottlerocket 12-29-2006 04:55 PM

Wow, Pat. That's sick.

I thought the ACT was way easier than the SAT. Man, SATs blew hard.

40 oz 2 freedom 12-29-2006 08:39 PM

I'm a senior Andre.

Yeah SAT sucked, got a 1310 on that, which I was not happy with at all.

Seriously. Anybody? Also, Terror - Lowest of the Low? Soulseek isn't working at all for me.

Let's Chop Cats! 12-30-2006 02:07 AM

I have both, but am way too lazy to send **** right now.

AndreTheHyena 12-30-2006 09:12 AM

That's cool, I'll get at you later this afternoon or evening. Do you have AIM?

Let's Chop Cats! 12-30-2006 09:18 PM

Lazybassplr56 12-31-2006 01:07 AM

Picked up Panic, and the first Annihilation Time release, and a Dawn Of The Dead poster at my local record store all for like $23. Cool.

BuddyBigsby 12-31-2006 03:35 AM

I picked up a few 7"s tonight at the show

ANS - Romancing the Phone
ANS / Deadpoint split
Vitamin X - Rip it Out
A-Team / R'n'R split (RNR west coast tour press it looks like)
Quicksand 7" with the CT address for Rev which I guess is kinda rare

raus 12-31-2006 04:24 AM

shane italian: dude
shane italian: im gonna tell yo ua secret
shane italian: steel reserve tastes great

40 oz 2 freedom 12-31-2006 03:50 PM

Scott sell me the RNR split

BuddyBigsby 12-31-2006 04:06 PM
Scott sell me the RNR split
I would but I want to keep it for the A-Team shit. Unless you have something really enticing you'd be willing to trade for it.

cbmartinez 12-31-2006 06:00 PM

Watched Ghost Dog today. Fucking incredible.

Unreasonably good movie. Soundtrack is on par with that of Taxi Driver and A Clockwork Orange.

cbmartinez 01-01-2007 11:38 AM

Oh yeah, and he's rubbing the cream on his ass. Forrest Whitaker is amazing though, a lot of really good symbolism.
Unreasonably good movie. Soundtrack is on par with that of Taxi Driver and A Clockwork Orange.
Hell yeah, RZA.. Have you seen Coffee & Cigarettes? It's directed by Jim Jarmusch, director of Ghost Dog (and Broken Flowers, good movie), but it kind of sucks. Tries to hard to be artsy. But RZA and GZA are both in it.

BuddyBigsby 01-01-2007 11:53 AM

I think a lot of the subtext and thematic elments flew over my head when I watched it, I need to see it again.

BuddyBigsby 01-01-2007 11:55 AM

I'm making a mix CD/playlist for my brother in an attempt to get him out of **** music. I'm trying to put a variety of stuff on there, because he probably won't be into hardcore.

Any suggestions?

He likes Papa Roach and Nickelback and lots of really bad butt rock so it shouldn't be difficult to impress him.

Let's Chop Cats! 01-01-2007 12:00 PM

Ignite, I swear everyone like this band even if they hate hardcore ex: my mom, sister and cousin who listens to ska.

Bouncing Souls, they just plain rule.

Rise Against, can be catchy.
