Ever form any opinions on the DiMarzio PAF Pro? I played a used guitar the other day with [I believe] PAF Pros in them. Though my local GC has a crap selection of DiMarzio pickups. They have three, and only two which are F-Spaced (what I need). So I'm debating on just buying the Evolution F-Spaced they have instead of special ordering a PAF Pro.

PAF Pros are ace. I thought that'd they'dbe kinda more aimed at vintage,low gain rock sounds, being that it has PAF in the name but they just kick arse. Can't really say much more than that, but I know they rule for lead tones.

D-Sonic/PAF Pro is my favorite Dimarzio combination

I'm just looking for something to replace my Super Distortion in the bridge of my RG1570. It physically is the best feeling guitar I have yet it kind of got screwed out on pickup selection. I much prefer my RG570 with a Tone Zone in the bridge and my Talman with the Norton in the bridge.


I've actually thought about just swapping the electronics between the two RGs before. Though I like the tone of the PAF in the neck of the RG1570, which is where I kind of thought about just getting a PAF Pro and slapping it in the bridge.

yes they do. you just have to know css.

Really? Customize profile seems to be broken on the band pages right now, they even admit it

you just stick the css code under the "about me" section. best to do that under safe mode. i guess they may have migrated so you can do profile 2.0 with band accounts, but i dont think so.

div's and css are the way to change all that layout ****, theres enough myspace code generator sites there

So... the Norton in the bridge of my Talman decided it didn't want to work any more since I've been playing my RGs. :upset: Neck pickup works, but any position that is just the bridge (4th and 5th on the selector switch) is silence.


edit: Fix'd because I am that great. Hot wire on the bridge decided it wanted to break.

I haven't played my RG570 and RG1570 back to back for a while. I just noticed the RG570's sustain sucks balls compared to the RG1570's sustain. I'm going to assume it is because my RG570 was second hand beat to s[size=2]h[/size]it when I got it, as I can't believe the Edge fails that much compared to the Edge Pro and I know the Tone Zone should be the better of the two compared to the Super Distortion for lead stuff.
