I've been listening to the song "When you Sleep" by My Bloody Valentine. **** Yes! This song is amazing, i need to hear more from this band.

1 - all of Loveless
2 - Loveless |
Not what I've been hearing...
It's... different. It reminds me of Wilco's "A Ghost Is Born" in the sense that both albums sound like "Well, we just made some incredible albums, so let's just kick back and lazily jam." |
Why don't you like Cryptopsy Iai?
Arg, the new Weezer is pretty lame overall. |
Nation of Ulysses and Cap'n Jazz are CHAMPS.
|
Today I Dagged
Fugazi - In on The Kill Taker This Heat - After The Heat Circle Jerks - Group Sex Graham Coxon - Kiss The Morning Primal Scream - Screamdelia |

What makes you think I don't like them? I've actually never heard them. |
The Black Heart Procession are just what I need right now.
|
My own stuff. Been recording and listening to older stuff that I have recorded.
|
What makes you think I don't like them?
I've actually never heard them.
hehe. You should hear them, they're good. |
They're up there on my wishlist, with None So Vile. About 8th or something.
|
Six Organs of Admittance - School of the Flower
^ Excellent, heartfelt, with some terrific psychedelic textures. |
Got a CD from my grandparents in the mail today. It's their new release, featuring a bunch of viola/piano sonatas.
All I listened to from it so far is the Dvorak, but it's good stuff. Perhaps I'm a bit biased. |
Anything Trip-Hoppy has been getting a large amount of play, especially Lamb and DJ Shadow.
|
Tonight's soundtrack will be:
Sufjan Steven - Illinois Glad my state was done second... |
I've been listening to John Frusciante lately. Good songs:
The Mirror Cut Out Going Inside Every Person |
Wow.
This Kraftwerk that Bartender uploaded for me is blowing my mind.
which album? |
Bartender did mention that he'd uploaded The Man-Machine, so probably that.
|
Ah ok.
I have Trans-Europe Express on my computer but i've yet to listen to it. Any Kraftwerk at all in fact. I feel like such a criminal. |
You should.
|
I'm really liking the new QOTSA album. I just started getting into them recently. I have both Songs For The Deaf and Lullabies To Paralyze. Most people have been saying "LTP is good, but it's no SFTD".
Maybe it's because I'm new to them, but I think that Lullabies is a lot better. |
I think it's very good, and I'm sure in time it will grow on me more. But SFTD is definitely better. All in all LTP is a worthy follow-up.
|
Bartender did mention that he'd uploaded The Man-Machine, so probably that.
Yeah, it was The Man-Machine. I played it to my sister a couple of months ago, and when all the initial beeping was done and we had "..we are the robots. WE ARE THE ROBOTS", she started laughing. Where did I mention that I'd uploaded it? |
Elliott Sharp
Gun Club |
