why would you use that hunk of junk to listen to tapes

you can get good pro-decks off of ebay that went for top dollar back in the 80's and don't suffer from the frequency washout that modern tape decks do

it's not a modern tape deck, in fact it's quite old. plays tapes just fine and it didn't cost me anything, win/win.
