They don't. I think music would be alot better if they only had Joey. Because at concerts when those 2 start playing, they basically mute everything else.

If you knew anything about Metallica you would know that they aren't a thrash band.

That's kinda same as how Lemmy keeps on saying Motorhead are rock 'n roll while most people label them as Speed Metal or Speed Punk, or whatever they label them as now.

Metallica were clearly a thrash band in first couple albums, and now obviously they're not. Considering the fact that all of their albums sound completely different except maybe load/reload.

Metallica's albums do all sound the same...in a way...let me explain.

The first five albums are all similer in the aspects that they were/are great metal albums.

Load Reload/90's Metallica all sounded the same in the aspect that they are great Rock albums.

A band that has stated that they aren't a thrash band even after they have been labeled one. Metallica's only real thrash album is Kill 'Em All. After they were labeled as thrash metal they came out with a statement that while they may have had one of the first thrash metal sound they moved away from that sound as quickly as they could from the thrash scene after their first record Kill 'Em All.

Yea, they can be categorized like that, but they all have their own styles.

Like KEA, was clearly thrash and speed. RTL/Mop was heavy metal and had few Speed songs too. AJFA with that kind of bass sounded different in that way. Black album sounded very radio friendly and commercialized. Load and reload had some bluesy and country styles also and they kinda went to hard rock instead of heavy metal. And St. Anger was heavy raw speed metal.

So yea, they're different and indifferent at the same time. :cool: Tired as hell, really do need sleep.

Similar in they are good metal album (The Black album is a mix of metal and rock IMHO) but they sound nothing alike.

I don't really have a problem with the artist unless I don't like them (i.e. Slipknot and A7X) other then that I don't care what is said.

Metallica were one of the first to really 'do' thrash with Kill 'Em All. When they moved away from that and got more proggressive other bands who were thrash were obviously going to build on what MetallicA had laid down before so they are going to be better than MetallicA. I think its safe and simpler to just say that MetallicA are one of the best Metal bands that you can find, full stop. So just stop f[I]u[/I]cking arguing.

On to other points, Im so stoked with Ruben producing, he is surley going to produce a good album, never mind what kind of style it is, whether Old School Thrash (Kill 'Em All), Progressive Thrash/Metal (Ride/Puppets/Justice), Metal/Rock (Black), Rock (Load) and lets just hope its not Nu Metal, we don't need Anger again but I doubt it'll happen.

Yeah they probably will. I told my friend Metallica were playing and he was like, "I don't care, it's only one band". :rolleyes: There's still 4 months left yet, last year Mudvayne were added like 3 days before. But for me there's Tallica, GnR, Stone Sour, Arch Enemy so far.
