AndreTheHyena 10-25-2005 09:27 PM

I was planning on ordering that, but for some reason I thought it wasn't out until November.

obese_breasts 10-25-2005 09:27 PM

yeah, you should be able to, I don't have it sorted by the artist just album, the folder is "The Beat Goes On"

It leaked Andy.

Fabz 10-25-2005 09:29 PM

Is your nickname on soulseek obese_breasts?

AndreTheHyena 10-25-2005 09:44 PM

"Die Fighting" by the Banner has a part that sounds just like "Who We Be" by DMX.

Special Brew 10-25-2005 09:46 PM

By the way Kasey, "ebony" is the root word to "ebonics". Look it up.

I'm moving a pillow and blanket into the TV room, this baby is going into the 12th inning. I'm so tired.

xstraightedgex 10-25-2005 11:46 PM

so pat where were you other 182 games hmmmm?

Special Brew 10-26-2005 12:22 AM

So... the band I was about to join completely fell apart and the drummer left for another band, since their guitarist and bassist quit. That left the guitarist, who I've been talking to. We're talking though, and we may start something up with my pal who plays drums. So there is still much hope to get this damn metalcore band started. This guy says he wants to make some groovy stuff(in a hardcore sense) with brutal breakdowns... sounds exacly like what I want to do. :D

40 oz 2 freedom 10-26-2005 12:22 AM

Yeah, right.

Fuuuck this.

RetiredAt21 10-26-2005 01:22 AM

Bands are so hard to get going. It's annoying.

Special Brew 10-26-2005 02:40 AM

I've noticed. :(

This guy is a huge Himsa/Black Dahlia fan so I think we will work very well together. The only major problem now will probably be getting a decent vocalist. I can do some backup, but it will be hard on me because I can play and sing.

Anyways, at least things are looking up even though the band I was trying to join crashed.
Bands are so hard to get going. It's annoying.
Not if you don't suck. The only hard thing is getting shows, around here at least.

Special Brew 10-26-2005 03:11 AM

Around here we have no real musicians. I can get gigs, just not band members.

StruckEverywhere 10-26-2005 03:24 AM

I'm pretty lucky really, I'm in a band with my two best friends and it makes it really easy.

NewKindofArmy03 10-26-2005 02:19 PM

My band had our first practice last Friday, we sounded awesome. It'll be easy for us to get shows since one of the kid is friends with people who put on basement shows throughout the city. We'll probably record a demo in a month or so.

S.T.I 10-26-2005 02:29 PM

I'm hoping to get mine off by the end of the year. All i need is a drummer and maybe bass player. We even got a name allready. It's a silly name but i like it. Eubank.

BuddyBigsby 10-26-2005 02:49 PM

My band is ruling so far.

Charge now an ex-floorpunch band
Drummer search is finally complete!!! Now joining CHARGE to keep the beats tight is Mike Kingshot. You may remember him from playing in NJ's Floorpunch. Mike is a perfect fit for the band and the first time we jammed together new songs were in progress with ease.
Now that Charge is a fully operational band once again the next task to tackle is the completion of our first full length. So we will be in the our newly built studio writing for the next few months. Staying warm for the winter ready to emerge for Spring with new life and a new record.
Label info will follow as we are working out the legalities.

_Tyler 10-26-2005 03:23 PM

Sweet. I love Charge.

Let's Chop Cats! 10-26-2005 03:27 PM

I always liked them, but they don't draw in NJ despite being from here so I've only seen them a couple times. They went on tour with Bane for a few dates and I know kids out of state love them.

Let's Chop Cats! 10-26-2005 04:00 PM

I use the [/size] trick because the font color is different for some skins.

40 oz 2 freedom 10-26-2005 04:19 PM

I use the grey skin so your thing didnt work Nate.

I thought Charge were from Chicago for some reason.
