I've kind of learned how to stop using drugs now I think. I haven't used heroin in like, over 4 months now and everything's been okay... I still drink occasinally but only like hard lemonade or smirnoff (winecoolers, yes) and it's been working out okay. I don't believe everything is so black and white like they tell you in AA and in treatment - i don't think if you're addicted to one substance you're addicted to EVERY substance. Ya know?

and yeah I don't think if you get addicted to heroin you are going to be addicted to alcohol etc. That just seems like it depends on your willpower

Everything is pretty black and white in AA/treatment. It's not a bad life so far... it takes a while for your brain to start functioning normally, but once that happens you really start becoming aware of your decision making. I actually have responsibilites now, so there will be some concequences if I fuck up - like losing my car, my apartment, etc hahah.

How's everyone been doing here?

well I know that AA makes you accept some stupid shit in order to progress (god etc) and seems to over simplify addiction

but yeah I'm glad you're pulling your shit together, not everyone is as lucky as sam and can just mooch off their rich dad while shooting junk

I'm doing great, not sure if you saw my little dilemma earlier about deciding between two jobs, but yeah my life is pretty drama free: school, friends, girlfriend, work and some personal projects.

I'm pretty sure everyone else is doing well too, if not the same as always
