Thanks for all of the uploads, if y'all want anything:

Congrats on the bass and the Jazz band

So what's everyone doing for Halloween?
*sigh*

Robbing houses in the nude.

DeusExMachina 10-21-2005 05:06 PM
I actually do not have The Madcap Laughs, but here's this.
Awesome. I approve.

Jazz band! Very cool. I would play guitar for my school's jazz band, but they do auditions at the end of the school year, and I moved over the summer, so I missed the whole process.

For halloween, I'm probably going to go to a party.

Edit: Walrus, could you possibly upload ATMP? Someone sent it out awhile ago, but it for some reason when I downloaded it, it only had like 7 songs.

Walrus Gumboot 10-21-2005 05:11 PM

I'll probably crash a party :D

JonG 10-21-2005 05:14 PM

To whoever requested Arzachel I'll get it up after Quicksilver, sorry about that.

DeusExMachina 10-21-2005 05:15 PM

Ok, sending out SFOS right now.

jpj 10-21-2005 05:15 PM
To whoever requested Arzachel I'll get it up after Quicksilver, sorry about that.
That was me, no need to hurry. I have an overwhelming amount of albums to listen to.

NP: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young-Someday Soon

DeusExMachina 10-21-2005 05:24 PM

Ok, apparently in gmail every email needs to be seperated by a comma, and you can't just put them on seperate lines. So, I need to format all the email addresses. Thus, it'll be about 5 to 10 minutes until I send out SFOS, but I'm uploading The Madcap Laughs right now, so I'll send them out together.

jpj 10-21-2005 05:26 PM

I always have a hard time sending things out to everyone on gmail. It always tells me the addresses are formatted wrong, but I just click send to all on my contacts. It also won't let me paste links.

DeusExMachina 10-21-2005 05:33 PM

I saved all of the email addresses to a word document in a gmail friendly format. So, if you want, I can send that to you, and then you just copy/paste it into the "To" area in gmail. Or just send it to everyone in your contacts list, whatever works.

Saucerful of Secrets and The Madcap Laughs are now sent.

jpj 10-21-2005 05:34 PM

I'll come with you.

*perverted laughter*

Ulysses 10-21-2005 05:43 PM

The Madcap Laughs is a nice, if a bit spaced out and slightly all-over-the-place album. Terrapin and If It's In You are good tracks though.

jpj 10-21-2005 05:48 PM

I downloaded The Madcap Laughs a long time ago, but I didn't really care for it at all. I'll give it another shot though.

Ulysses 10-21-2005 05:53 PM

It's not Syd Barrett at his best obviously, because of his failing condition but it's not the worst. Piper At The Gates of Dawn is the real deal. I can't get over that album.

jpj 10-21-2005 05:54 PM

Oh, yea PATGOD is great, my favorite out of my limited psychedlia collection.

JonG 10-21-2005 05:55 PM

I didn't like PATGOD at all.

/waits for neg rep from Schyma

It never appealed to me I guess. I'm still giving Madcap Laughs a chance.

np: Wooden Ships, now Marrakesh Express

I would've thought Marrakesh Express is a song that The Dead would do.

Ha, I remember that thread in The Pit

I really need to get some of these uploadables :drools: I've been listening to a lot of Beatles lately, think I'll download a few of their actual albums.:p

np: Over The Hills And Far Away - Led Zeppelin

I would. I haven't heard any Caravan. :)

@Walrus, WOIIFTM is almost done, then all your requests have been fulfilled :P

I don't like it either.

Lunch 10-21-2005 06:43 PM

I was skeptical about buying it when I heard they were prog, usually since prog is pretty hit or miss with me and I was scared it was going to be over the top and to hard to follow. It turned out to be solid and easy to listening to.

Edit: And for some reason, my Just For Love wouldn't work, but thanks for sending all those other albums out.

Aren't you an ELP fan? They're pretty much the definition of over the top and hard and to follow.

Well, I at least enjoy them because of Carl Palmer (and amazing musicanship all around) and the vocals that aren't high pitched and annoying.

Edit: Ironic coming from you, GAYPJ.

JonG 10-21-2005 06:54 PM

Does anybody have:
Any New Riders of the Purple Sage (besides s/t)
Old & In The Way (besides s/t)
Jazz Is Dead

Lunch 10-21-2005 06:55 PM

I have the Adventures of Panama Red, I'll upload it after this Caravan album.

JonG 10-21-2005 06:56 PM

Nice, thanks man. I have most of their stuff on vinyl, just want some on the computer so I can listen to it.

GayPJ  And thanks for not letting me down with the flame Lunch :thumb:

I'm about to look at that list seriously and pick out stuff I want.
Nice, thanks man. I have most of their stuff on vinyl, just want some on the computer so I can listen to it.
They're really good, I'm probably going to order Home On the Road/Brujo (they sell them packaged together) on my next Amazon order.

BigTrav: GayPJ goes back a long way, it's a classic.

Edit: The Caravan album was just sent out, let me know if you didn't get it.
