'Sup JF?
|
'Sup JF X2. The guy who gets angry when we don't reply yet when we do he's not here.
|
lol hello :)
|
Everyone watch the match then?
|
Nah, I watched the Dan Cruickshank thing on Modernism. It was really good. I know Cruickshank might not be everyone's idea of a good presenter, but his programs are excellent none the less.
There's some incredible projects going on in the world. Like Dontang (I think?) in China, where they've a city planned that'll house half a million people, be completely self sufficient and environmentaly friendly. |
You know, if only we could get something like that over here.
|
There's really no reason why we shouldn't
I might run for prime minister. Lots of tax breaks/bursarys/grants for people to make their houses environmentally friendly, those magnetic trains in the underground (there's a magnet on the underside of the train, and the opposing magnet is the track. They repel each other so the train runs on about an inch of nothing. There's no friction so the train needs little to no power and is self propelling to a certain extent, they're silent and almost completely clean. They've been running in China for years) ... That sort of thing You can really tell the different thinking across the world. The technology MIT in America works on in for the home is all CAMERAS, CAMERAS, CAMERAS, watching and reacting to what you're doing. China is all enviroment |
That is really clever stuff.
I'd vote for you :p |
|
What party would you run for?
The patrick party? |
Too right I would
|
i'll vote for you :)
China seem to have the right ideas in envriomental issues, maybe not others though. Have you seen what dubai are doing, they've made loads of artifical islands in the shape of the world. http://realestate.theemiratesnetwork.com/developments/dubai/images/the_world.jpg |
 I turned it on when Cruickshank was talking to the guy and they were going "And this is Plymouth" "Plymouth?" "Brits are 40% of our investors". They didn't show what it was they were talking about again :(
That's pretty incredible. Gimicky but cool |
