i must disagree... i'm diggin on the new ASP big time.

i listened to the first few tracks. even though they didnt grab my attention like their last album did, but still they werent that bad

just saw Sea of Treachery, their vocalist is pretty good, also I got to scream THIS IS OUR DESTINY YOU CAN'T TURN THESE SHIPS AROUND which was fun *crosses off on Bucket List"

edit: and there was this cute as hell chick with a bow in her hair throwin it down, was hilarious

edit 2: and I got my ticket to that Whitechapel headlining tour (I'll probably just leave before they go on)

I just like a few songs on the album, pretty much the first and last songs were the only ones I dug that they played

whitechapel is fun live tbh. but on the new ASP topic again... the random like power metal vocals are wierd as ****. like, they aren't bad.... just random as hell and don't really fit. does eddie do all of the vox?

Just listened to new ASP...I really don't know what to think of it so far. It's good but not "OMG IT'S THE BESTEST ALBUM OF THE DECADE!"

Nah, he does it again on the last part of the album, can't remember which song. Not as dramatic as "Black Gold Reign" though.

That does really annoy me. I can't stand PM vocals.


After a few listens, I really, really like most of the songs, but the PM vox moments, the instrumentals, the acoustic, and "Songs for the Damned" really annoy me. It's like they tried to do some **** they really aren't capable of yet.

Regardless, the majority of the actual songs are pretty badass, just nowhere near the first two albums, especially tPoE.

Yeah it is called Suicide Season and apparently it's going to be a 'complete move away' from the style on Count Your Blessings, but how many bands say that then it's exactly the same.

Funny, I used to completely hate anything BMTH related, but now I can listen to their music, but still hate the band.

I like a lot of bands' music but hate the members because they're ****ing idiots and/or fags.
