Well, this was an interesting place for someone who actually suffers proper depression to come in.
I think I'm going to leave until you lot know what you're talking about. :)
LIES!! SHE'S LYING!!! it's a pseudo-illness!!! *glares* :p *huggles* |
How old are you 2?
|
Seriously, you guys have absolutely no idea how it feels. I can't even explain it to you because it feels normal to me.
How old are you 2?

Seriously, you guys have absolutely no idea how it feels. I can't even explain it to you because it feels normal to me.
i still can't fathom why you're depressed :( *hugs* |
I guess it happens being togheter with you..
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! serriously, why do i like being rude at you? :p at 16 and a half, you should have better things to do than being depressed ;) depressed is for 40 year olds who havent accomplished anything yet, or that have been a outcast all their life and threated realy bad. They have a reason. Ofcourse, i do not know your story.. |
i still can't fathom why you're depressed :( *hugs*
It's not a "pseudo-illness" as you like to label it. Simple as that. It's a mental illness, caused by the lack of a chemical. Many things can trigger debilitating depression. Feelings of depression are caused by a chemical change that affects how the brain functions. A normally functioning brain is a giant messaging system that controls everything from your heartbeat, to walking, to your emotions. The brain is made up of billions of nerve cells called neurons. These neurons send and receive messages from the rest of your body, using brain chemicals called neurotransmitters. These brain chemicals—in varying amounts—are responsible for our emotional state. Depression happens when these chemical messages aren’t delivered correctly between brain cells, disrupting communication. Think of a telephone: if your phone has a weak signal, you may not hear the person on the other end. Their communication is muted or unclear. The good news is that there are many forms of treatment that can help you cope with depression, including medications that can strengthen weak signals by raising the levels of certain neurotransmitters, or by improving the neurons’ ability to process signals. This ensures that the brain’s vital messages are delivered—loud and clear. |
hi guys
|
...aaaaaaaaaaaaand?
|
hi guys
Hey Lem  And HBD, what I'm doing is proving Ryan wrong. He believes it is caused by something in particular in my life that I'm not happy with. He does not accept it as a proper physical illness that I simply cannot control and therefore spends his time trying to figure out why it happens. In other words, he can stick his "pseudo-illness" where the sun don't shine. |
hey Gen :)
is everything okay? |
I bet he does to!
having some pseudo-illness in your 2nd cant be good.. |
hey Gen :)
is everything okay?
Yeah. I just came in at the wrong time to catch these nubs calling depression a "Pseudo-Illness". Being a sufferer myself, it offends me to see people passing it off as a cry for attention. |
where i do agree with you in that it is a illnees it is true that many people do not in fact suffer from it and use it for attention - the amount of times i have heard people say they were depressed there should be a large number of suicides in Keswick
however im not saying that you are a 'faker' |
i was joking gen, i'm saying those emo whores have pseudo illnesses.
i hope work doesn't eat me. |
what animals you have now? a lion?
you cannot work in a Petshop and say stuff like that. |
