Architecture in Helsinki - In Case We Die
Wonderful, eccentric indie pop. I can see people looking for a slightly less spastic Fiery Furnaces find this as something worthwhile...
They're a lot better than the Furnaces.

Swami 05-04-2005 02:37 AM

The Monks are cool, but comparing them (even slightly) to the Stooges is stooopid.

Eric Dolphy - Out to Lunch (overrated, but cool)
Crime - San Francisco is burning (POLICIA!!!!)

I finally bought Under Blackpool Lights, 'twas worth it.
Agalloch
Are their other albums as good as or better than The Mantle?

Zappa 05-04-2005 07:53 PM

I am just listening to The Mantle for the first time now, but so far it doesn't match Pale Folklore for me.

Little Man being Erased 05-04-2005 10:35 PM

I just finished listening to Bob Dylan's Time Out Of Mind for the first time, very good stuff. Maybe not up to the standard of his early work but great nonetheless.

Zmev 05-04-2005 11:13 PM

Just finished ...And the Circus leaves town, good record but I think I prefer Blues.
Just finished ...And the Circus leaves town, good record but I think I prefer Blues.
I was not impressed by that album at all (...And the Circus), average at best. Good thing I only paid ten bucks for it.
