And while you're doing that, we're getting kind of close to finishing the recording of the Capital H album. We've been going at a snail's pace, unfortunately, because I've been ridiculously busy with work and moving. I actually haven't had time to record anything for the last two weeks. It's kind of pissing me off, actually.

So I tried moving my copy of Fruity Loops Studio 6 from my desktop to my laptop and it's not happening. I got it from nicatterberry on here like 3 years ago. I think he gave it to a few of us... did you get it too FMB? Anybody have any ideas on how to get installed on my laptop?

I know I'm being a little vague. :-/

Bass, i have one song i rap on but its not in the setlist for saturday. We recorded 2 songs on the demo today and we're doing two more tomarrow.

I had it, but when my computer crashed, I lost it. All I've had from that point was the demo version because I couldn't find a legit virus-free copy anywhere online. Sorry, bro.

They have such sweet slap and pick tones. It's the only 4-string I've ever enjoyed playing. Those EB hybrid slinkies (stainless steel) make all the difference. What strings do you usually use, Jorge?

I'll be putting my Schecter and my Roya in the shop for a setup and pickup wiring on the Schecter whenever my Gary Goodman strings get here. It'll be $100 well spent for someone to fix my wiring problems and file the nut down like it should be.

IDEALLY, I'd be using DRs or Ernie Balls, but usually I get what I find around here.

I asked the guy to defret the 'Ray as well, but he didn't want to do it :p.

And I really like Schecters. I'd probably own a Schecter or an ESP, but I really find their tone is pretty horrible for any type of latin music. For anything else, ace basses.

EDIT: Thinking about it, I hated the 4-string Schecter necks. The 5s felt great.

At a party and my neighbors house one time, one of my friends from highschool was tryin to get with some random, and they picked the first car in the driveway to try. In about 5 mins the entire party was outside watching and laughing at them.

1) That does not sound like rap death metal fusion. That barely can pass for rap on the 3rd song maybe, and evidently you've never heard death metal.

2) "Future rap"=/=beat that's been overdone for 20 years+ annoying synth tone. Is that midi I hear me thinks so.

4) Your beats are so bland it makes me want to call vanilla ice and tell him to teach you how to make even a bad to average beat. For starters, snare does not ALWAYS have to be on the 3.

5) Your influences section is terriblarious.

Your comment about MIDI irks me.

You do realize most if not all (if you count the midi technology used to sample) rap music uses MIDI. 'Specially these days. So why do you say it like "omg don't use MIDI, it's so lifeless"?(is that what you're getting at?) Or am I misunderstanding in a big way?:\

Because we all know; It's the production of most MIDI that makes it lifeless, not the technology itself.
