I don't know if it's better to try and make things better, because I might screw up and they might turn out a lot worse.

Or move on, and not take that chance that things may get better..

If I really do have to get over her.. what's the best way.. I don't want to get into another relationship

B 04-07-2006 04:05 PM

If you honestly want to make things better than just try talking to her, because if you can't talk to her about stuff like that it isn't worth it in the first place.

Getting over someone you love is generally quite hard.. Try getting out with your friends a lot more and just keep yourself occupied for a while. Don't get into a habit of doing nothing a lot because then it becomes difficult not to think about her.
I'm thinking 45 isn't going to be enough.

The dinner for two menu will run you over $30 if you decide to go with that.

And ordering ala carte will also be around that or more.

Plus you have drinks and a tip.
yeah i'm gonna have 55 for dinner i just found out. but that still might not be enough.

heh mickey d's it is

hehe.

Course applebee's is cheaper than the japanese place. And she's not an expensive girl. Actually, she forbidded me from getting her anything for her birthday, if i did she would hit me really hard or something.

Chaindrive 04-07-2006 04:58 PM

Might want to make it Applebee's. I like that restaurant.

ThePinkPanther 04-07-2006 05:01 PM

yeah. i'll use the extra cash to suprise her with something. cause i like to do that.

Did you end up getting her anything?

You should of gotten her something nice, even a teddy bear, and left it on her pillow, or had someone do it for you or something, shed act mad, you you know she'd think its sweet.

Edit: yeah, do what you and kimmie decided.

Jom 04-07-2006 05:34 PM

Applebee's = phenomenal place when it's in my homestate. Any other Applebee's I go to that's not in my state? Something drastic goes terribly wrong :upset:

Nah i didn't get her anything. Yeah i know she'd pretend to be mad, but i've already given her two teddy bears, and the one is freaking huge and kimmie wants it, a necklace, and a bunch of other stuff over the relationship. She honestly did not want anything for her birthday and didn't want me to get her anything, so i figured to listen to what she said. Although she may consider me taking her out tomorrow as her present.

The Fonz 04-07-2006 05:44 PM

I Went there with two friends and 6$, that was a good night, heres what happened(off topic, buta good story)

Me, and my friends juli, jason, greg, and gregs gf(first date lol ((you'll find out why lol, later))).

So we all go in to see a movie, sit down, and me juli and jason get bored, and decide to got applebees across the way, an dthe the two datees alone. bad idea. anyway. we get to apple bees with our 6 dollars, and order a buffalowings appetizer, and a sprite, and chat with our waitriess. then we decided and we were still hungry, and tol dthem it was our friends birthday(it wasnt), got free food. Went to the home depot parking lot,a nd had fights on the big carts. then walked back to the movies. it was friday night, and a car full of seniors(we were going into frosh year) drove by, and honked at some woman who stopped at a stop sign, and my friend (jason) yells "HONK HONK
MOTHERFUCKERS!" as they were dirving away, so the car of five seniors stop the car, that jeson decided to chase down the road, and jump out, at which point jason, a small kid, stops dead in his tracks, and turns around and runs towards us. The seniors go away, we have a good laugh. Then we get back to the movie theater, turns out my friend had ask this girl if she would blwo him to which she responded "umm, i dont think so, not yet" kinda awkwardly. Then 10 minutes of silence later, he taps her on the shoulder, and she turns to him and *BAM* there it is. HE pulled it out. I had many a laugh about that.

/end off topic post

So Julia is a huge whore. If I had known, I wouldn't have even bothered with her. I thought I had gotten over everything, but tonight I went out to dinner with her sister, who I have been friends with for a while, and Julia called her sister and said she was spending the night at this guys house. I don't know why this makes me so mad, but it does. I guess I still have feelings for her. So yeah, just venting here...kinda helps. Hopefully someone has something to say. And I hope everythings going well for all you.

Banshee 04-07-2006 07:21 PM

So yea, i just split up with my girl. We were together for two years.
Any ideas on things to do to take my mind off it, etc?

Surtr 04-07-2006 07:33 PM

Maybe hang out with some friends? Go grab a bite to eat with the guys and hang out or something around town..Unless your a girl/you don't live in a town/you don't have friends..:(

The Profit of Maine 04-07-2006 07:39 PM

I'm just having a personal emo-crisis right now. I have to work on a paper since finals are Monday here (it's a weird schedule) and I can't because I'm obsessing about my ex. If you don't know, I've broken up with her twice but still have feelings for her (which I have a history of in past relationships). She told me that a guy on her track team's trying to get her to go to a party on campus and I don't know if he'll try to take advantage of her (I doubt it, but it's possible) but someone there probably will try. And I can't stop thinking about it and just wanting her here in my god damn bed right now. I'm being stupid and an idiot and need to vent, but it's certainly not helping this paper-writing attempt any (I have plans for tomorrow night, don't you worry).

Well, one things for sure, don't get into a relationship. I doubt that's what you want right now, but if you're considering it I really would advise you to not do so.

Surtr 04-07-2006 07:46 PM

Cheers man :chug:

And yeah, Relationships are bad after a breakup and thats coming from me, the man who goes out with any hot girl that walks in front of me :( I'll dump/get dumped and right away I'll have found another girl, it's deffinatly not cool.

Tillius 04-07-2006 07:47 PM

Hello familiars. I haven't been around these parts in awhile(this thread).

Everything is going wrong.

Me and Pamela are pretty much over.
Things are starting to have effect on me from my car accident, and the pain is making me feel like I'm dying. I spent the night at the hospital last night.
My school is basically going to hell right now with all this new stuff that's going on with it.

I think I've slipped into a minor state of depression.

Rasta Rocker 04-07-2006 07:55 PM

Sounds like you need to take a step back and look at each thing, and take them on one by one. I would advise getting your school back up to par, put Pamela in the back of your mind, it'll be hard but you gotta think about the big picture. You can always ask your friends or your parents to help you out with these things. Don't be afraid to, that's what they're there for.

As for me, anyone got anything, my post is on page 180, towards the bottom. I'm feeling like I'm done with girls for a good while. I've had nothing but bad experiences in the past year. I've come to conclude that they are liars and whores (don't bitch at me, I know you're not all like this).

Zion Gates 04-07-2006 08:01 PM

lots of depressed people today..but here it is anyway:
so me and my girlfriend have been together for 6 months, its been kinda rough and stuff, but then everything got really really good. but for some reason, for the past 3 days its been super weird. We usually argue and stuff, but its nothing special. Lately there has been no arguing, but its just been ackward. She makes me sooo fuc'kn depressed sometimes, im good at dealing with my emotions and stuff so its not a big deal. But i try and be a good boyfriend and sh't (which im not)..i dont think she really realizes it and doesnt appreciate it (could be wrong though). Then randomly she asked me if i still liked her and i said yeah ofcourse, so i asked if she like me, and she said she didnt know. So i told her to tell me when she knew, she said she did after about 5 minutes of thinking about it, and she went back to saying i love you and sh't, but now i dont believe it. I saw her today, and something was really weird about it, like it seemed like she didnt want to be here (at my house)..so to sum it all up, she makes me upset alot, we never have anything to talk about, and i think she might be lying to me. yet at the same time i really like her and i could be wrong about her lying..what do i do?..and yeah we've kinda talked about everything, but im not sure if she's lying and stuff

Surtr 04-07-2006 08:22 PM

Talk to her alone, make sure she knows you want the real answer, because she means alot to you and that you don't want to prolong it any further if she doesn't feel the same.

It'll make you mad. But sometimes people act like that. It'll get easier as time goes on.

If she's telling you someone is hitting on her; she wants you to know that for a reason. Because if you really leave someone you're kind to their feelings, unless you're a complete arse.

I'm sorry you and Pamela couldn't get it worked out. But the first thing you need to worry about is how your body feels. Get that taken care of.

You seem like you ARE a good boyfriend, so that means it's on her. And it seems like she's telling you what you want to hear, so you need to...well, pretty much ditch her. Life's too short for lip service.
