I dunno, I know some friends of mine who do drugs for fun and they're ok, and some are total fags, especially those in gangs who think they're oh-so-fantastic and all. I know a lot of artists/musicians derive some inspiration from getting a high, but overall.. drugs? Nah.

you're basing it on the person and not the drugs themselves. if a person's a prick they're gonna be a prick on drugs or off. lots of good people do drugs (like my 80 year old friend) and they dont hurt themselves or anyone else because of it. drugs arent the problem, its the people themselves who use them wrong. you've just grown up in a world that looks down on people who do drugs which greatly affects your view of them. i was once like you, i dispised them but eventually came to the conclusion that i was being brainwashed into not thinking for myself and learning from my own experiences, not of others.
