Not only that, but now I can work it into other phrases. Such as KoDpiece. :naughty:

So, how was everyones weekend?

Bartender 11-07-2004 07:25 PM

My weekend was good. I didn't do much, but my dad came down and took me for a proper meal for the first time in a while.

/can't wait

Bartender 11-07-2004 07:29 PM

Halo 2 looks good, but I still don't think I'll be buying an Xbox just to play it. I'll probably just use my friend's, like I did with Halo

I'm more interested in Fallout 3, if/when it ever actually comes to be.

gmoneyguy 11-07-2004 07:29 PM

I don't have an xbox
/is plying socom2 right now

Riva 11-07-2004 07:30 PM

Yeah, I had a pretty good weekend. Friend's 18th on Sat night. A relaxing sunday. And I am skipping Uni today. :thumb:

/is gonna be screwed by exams in one week

/agrees that Halo 2 is taking too **** long to come out

Riva 11-07-2004 07:32 PM

Fallout and Fallout 2 are kick arse, if you can ignore the occasional bug.

Bartender 11-07-2004 07:34 PM
Fallout and Fallout 2 are kick arse, if you can ignore the occasional bug.
Yeah, the bugs could be annoying. Patches and such sort most of them out though.

Riva 11-07-2004 07:37 PM

Yeah, it had good support back in the day. Everyone seems to ignore it now.

/is going to play Medieval: Total War in a short time.

Bartender 11-07-2004 07:43 PM

I'm pretty sure that there was a disc of patches, manuals and so on in the Fallout: Radioactive box, which was handy.

Anyway, excellent games.

Riva 11-07-2004 07:47 PM

How's Uni?

Which Amon Armath album is good to get into?

What's the atomic weight of Francium?

towniceman 11-07-2004 07:49 PM

I don't think you can judge age by the forum since punk and metal both started in the 70'sI know alot of punkers that are in there 40's

Riva 11-07-2004 07:51 PM

Wow, that was random.

Bartender 11-07-2004 07:53 PM
How's Uni?

Uni is good, though tomorrow is my busiest day of it.

I've only heard one song, and though it was good, I can't say which album would be good to get. I'm told Once Sent From the Golden Hall is a good one.

I have no idea :)

How's Uni for you?

Have you ever heard of a 70s Australian band called Galadriel?

Bartender 11-07-2004 07:53 PM
Wow, that was random.
I was just about to say something similar.

Riva 11-07-2004 08:00 PM

223. It is the most metallic element in the world. How hardcore.

Yeah, Uni is going fine. Gotta get stuck into it soon. Exams are coming up in a week.

Galadriel are that prog band aren't they. I think I heard a song by them, Girl-17 or something? Haven't got it on my computer though.

Bartender 11-07-2004 08:02 PM

I think so. I've never heard them, just heard of them as "fuzzed out guitars with a flute", which sounded pretty interesting.

Riva 11-07-2004 08:06 PM

Yeah, it was a pretty original song, as I recall. I can remember where I heard it. I'll see if I can find it of one of my friends.

Bartender 11-07-2004 08:15 PM

Do you read any webcomics?

EDIT: I'm asking Riva, really, but any of you?

Riva 11-07-2004 08:17 PM

Only Full Frontal Nerdity. Do you mean funny or serious?

Bartender 11-07-2004 08:22 PM

Funny or serious webcomics? Either, I suppose, but the funny ones always seem to be better. Just wondering, since I finally just caught up (after my 6 internet-less weeks) on ctrl-alt-del.

Riva 11-07-2004 08:24 PM

Sounds interesting. What's the address? Have you read Full Frontal Nerdity?

Bartender 11-07-2004 08:26 PM

They are tragically l337. You'll love it if you're a gamer :)

I haven't read Full Frontal Nerdity. It sounds like something I could like though. Address?

Riva 11-07-2004 08:38 PM

http://archive.gamespy.com/comics/nodwick/ffn/ffn.htm

Very funny, especially if you can understand the D&D jokes.

Bartender 11-07-2004 08:51 PM

Cool, thanks. I'll read it when I get some time. I like it already though; Four Geeks. No Lives. Roll For Initiative.

Bartender 11-07-2004 08:59 PM

Why doesn't Paranoidd post in here any more?

Iris 11-07-2004 09:09 PM
Cool, thanks. I'll read it when I get some time. I like it already though; Four Geeks. No Lives. Roll For Initiative.
Was that a D&D joke?

Riva 11-07-2004 09:15 PM

That series is hilarious, Bartender. Especially this one:
http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/?t=archives&date=2004-09-24

And that news reader: "I am a coporate puppet stuffed with bullshit... Wait, can I get a do-over?"

Bartender 11-07-2004 09:24 PM
Was that a D&D joke?
It's the tagline for Full Frontal Nerdity, I think. So, yep.
