I'd say they still kick it live, but James' voice is really bad now live, at least of what i heard, when they were in Holland just a couple of weeks ago. His voice, gah!

GraveRobbersINC 07-24-2004 05:42 PM

lol, yes bumping threads is hell to do

_GanondorF_ 07-24-2004 06:17 PM

yes his voice sucks live, but you dont notice it at the time so its all good...i only noticed listening to recordings :D

Shady Ultima 07-24-2004 06:21 PM

James can't sing anymore, but apparently, from what I've heard the music is still there. I'd obviously rather see Slayer. I wanna see Voivod though, I've been gettin into them a lot.

Metallica are amazing live, i've seen em 3 times , at download, at leeds carling festival, and at earls court london

anyway definately go and see them, specially since they generally play the older stuff live (at least they did when I saw them) :thumb:

Shady Ultima 07-24-2004 07:19 PM

Well... Guys I don't even know if I have a band anymore right now, so those recordings of my band, they're not happening anytime soon. So if anyone was lookin forward to it, sorry guys. I'm trying to form another band, but it won't be only thrash it'll also have a lot of more alternative style songs.

Corporal Compendia 07-25-2004 07:40 AM

Well.. the show! Is over...

Goat Horn, Anvil and Razor were all amazing... freakin' amazing!
Sadly, not many people showed up, but the crowd was still intense for Razor's recording.
War Machine played a good set... they did a great cover of The Trooper for their last song.
Horde of Worms were good... and Exciter were good. The other locals bored me... and I left before Infernal Majesty came on, but only because they're playing in my city on August 3rd. (BTW, ratmevilempire, that's at the Dungeon with Wetwork and Evirus, so go!!)

NP: Exciter - Stand Up And Fight

ThrashMaster27 07-26-2004 12:45 AM

Gotta love the bumpage. Welcome to the world of Coroner FaceInTheSky, treasure that album! Oh yeah? anyone gonna put their ugly face up now that profile pics are available. I have, but it's a bit dark and stuff, plus I'm basically bald. Long hair doesn't suit me.

RCA 07-26-2004 12:53 AM

I got Reign In Blood on vinyl today, I put it where I keep all of my other records (my special shelf), and let it bask it its glory.

Ahh, now all I need is a beer and I'm set.

JMetallica 07-26-2004 01:47 AM

Heres a lolly pop. :p

And that tribute album looks interesting, lots of decent bands and only a few shockers, which is fairly rare for tribute albums. Look foward the hearnig the dark angle and motorhead especially. And I wonder if "Members of .... JUDAS PRIEST" means Halford might make an appearance? That would be something special hearing him sing Enter Sandman. :D

lilpete86 07-26-2004 07:29 AM

That tribute album sounds pretty cool. I'd love to hear the death angel and dark angel ones.

DimebagDarrell 07-26-2004 07:29 AM

I think lemmy singing Whiplash will sound amazing :thumb: and trapped under ice by dark angel will be heavy as
