Some people just don't like Mezmerize because it isn't the same old SOAD they are used to. I think their change is actually better, and a major improvement from Steal this Album.

Their time is done because they've evolved and are moving on to something more complex and better? :confused:

Some of the songs can be linked musicly back to the older ones. Like in a few song they sound somewhat like older ones (<and if anyone use that as a negative to them are fuc[U]k[/U]in idiots.)

Sorry for asking but I started a cover band in the 'tallica thread and I got my members and we decided songs. Then I asked them to record there bits and none of them had recording capabilites.

Also, Metalhead wasn't it me that came up with the ***official***threads cover bands?

mesmerise is more creative, but steal this album has its good songs

All albums are pretty **** good. Yeah, Mezmerize may not seem as heavy or the vocals as angry as Toxicity but its still a good album. I can't wait for Hypnotize.

You guys should definetely play chop suey. It's their best song afterall. Although they did say only official threads and this one isn't exactly official.

Armenia is the county that SOAD come from which is in the south west of Asia. The Armenian Genocide is when the Turkish killed one and a half million Armenians. George Bush did not class it as genocide

The Armenian Genocide, Is when the Turks killed millions (dont know the exact number) of armenians and the goverment refuses to acsept or acknowledge it.

BYOB is about the war, and how advertising shows the war "everybodys going to the party have a real good time" means that teh advertising is giving an impression of war as a "good time" and more people should join the "party"

Old school hollywood is about a celebrity baseball game daron attened and hated being around all the no-name-has-been-so-called-celebritys
