Agreed, I hate lager with a passion. Can't even drink it when I'm drunk already. I'm actually a Guinness man, because in town pubs they don't serve any proper ales. Though I had a pint of Fuller's London Pride a while ago and that was lovely.

I don't like beers and lagers so much, I'll only drink spirits and liquor usually. Alchopops make me ill due to allthe colourings and have so little alcohol in them that they're pointless.

As a beer, Guinness is fairly mediocre. Its strong point though is that it's available EVERYWHERE! Most pubs won't serve real drinks, but Guinness is an acceptable substitute.

I've got a pint of London Pride in the cupboard, actually, I'll probably open it up tonight.

Luckily a pub near where I live has a great selection, they have about 7 guest ales on at any one time.

A while back at a kind of extended party me and a few friends spent 3 days drinking proper stuff, Dark Lord, Theakston's Old Peculiar, Badger's Golden Champion, Old Speckled Hen, Black Sheep... then someone handed me a tin of Fosters. I actually literally could not taste it. It was basically water...

Alcopops are more than just horrible, they're also morally reprehensible. The target market is people who aren't old enough to buy alcohol legally.

As for spirits, well, they're fine if you just want to get drunk. Personally I gave up on that approach a while ago, I only drink socially now.

Yes, I think there's something morally suspect in marketing something that tastes like orange juice or coke yet will get you drunk. I'm told that i shall grow into the taste of beer etc. but at the moment I only really like to drink spirits, I can hold them fairly well though so that's not too bad.

Pretty much all I drink is Guinness and Jack Daniels.

Not in Canada, too cold. In Italy I walked onto the balcony in the morning not realizing that I was poking out of the hole in the front of my boxers. That could have been bad.

I grew about a foot and a half taller in a ridiculously short period of time, and just kind of evened out. I joined the wrestling team and took up weight lifting too, (both of which I have since dropped in order to enjoy teh high metabolism). Some people didn't even recognize me.
