So few days ago I bugged my local venue back home on myspace, telling them to book a show the weekend I go home, which happens to by my birthday. Instead of complying, they have decided to just hand the place over to me for a Saturday night, for a birthday party. I went through and messaged some local bands, and I've got 4 or 5 that are going to perform. I feel like a hometown hero.

I'm from Canada and can't say we have Grad Cruises where I am.....maybe its just a British Columbian thing.

its not a full on cruise. its about two hundred people on a small boat and we went around the harbour for about three hours.

So I'm off school for no reason...

My mum came in and said to me "Derek, you're not going to school today" this morning.

I start my last term on Monday, 6 weeks then I'm finished. I have like one assignment and one exam and that's all I do all term. I think I'll be taking a lot of days off.
