first let me start off by telling you that the drummer (or someone in the band) is from a little place called poway in san diego. poway and another place called rancho bernardo (also in san diego) have huge rivalries when it comes to highschool sports. i live in poway

so..

blink = f*ck

18= R (18 letter of alphabet)

2 = B (2 letter of alphabet)

RB stands for rancho bernardo. so there you have it, the meaning of blink 182

i dont know about sum 41 though

Hendrix was highly overrated(everyone was famous if they were a band during that time)...when you analyze something look at songwriting ability too.everyones entitled to their own opinion.take david gilmour for example,no other player can measure up to a fifth of what pours out of his sound..not a bad vocalist either...listen to the wall album..or wish you were here...but dont see the wall movie itll change your views if you already heard the album.

Blink used to be called Blink originally, but some Irish techno band had the name already, so they changed it. The 182 has absolutely no meaning (according to Tom DeLonge).
Sum 41 were formed 41 days into the summer, quite simple.

I think Liquid Tension Experiment is kind of a weird name.
