No, no, no...... don't say that. They might hear you. Then they'll send a job recruiter to your house at night to steal your soul.

I worked at ICT selling Credit Card insurance for 8 months,
Then I worked at MBNA selling credit cards for a year and a half.
Then I worked at Dell as Customer service and tech support for a year.
Then I worked at ICT for another yeah as tech support.

Then I finally got a decent job that doesn't suck balls.

Telemarketing is one of the worst jobs you can have. Trust me. Anyone who says otherwise is new to it or lying to themselves.

Afternoon Gav

Saitoku 12-22-2004 10:17 PM

I've got $200 stashed away right now.

I can't decide whether to spend it on effects or keep saving for a fretless Fender Jazz.

bottlerocket 12-22-2004 10:20 PM

I played a fretless J today at GC. It had flatwounds and was really smooth. I thought I was in heaven...

I've got somewheres around 800, plus 250 that my parents owe me.

I'm in the moneys.

The other day I played a fretless Corvette with rounds. Was really nice.

Saitoku 12-22-2004 10:25 PM

I think I'm gonna let it rest on whether I get into a band once the semsmter starts back up or not. If yes, I'll probably need the effects, so I'll get them, if no, I'll just keep saving.

bottlerocket 12-22-2004 10:26 PM

I got some new strings today. I figured I'd try 'em out. D'Addario Nicke Wounds...

They say bright, but the guy from GC said they were bassy.

I think he said that because I told him "I'm looking for bassy strings that aren't flatwounds. Any suggestions?"

If I don't like 'em then whatever...:p

.045, .065, .085, and .105 by the way.

Comments?

Well, are they bassy or bright, then? Or have you put them on yet?

Saitoku 12-22-2004 10:28 PM

I have to pay bills. I'm always broke. :upset:

PaulSimonon 12-22-2004 10:29 PM

Whoo!!!

$500> 4x10 with 9 band eq on pre, and 200w through a power head, and rackmounted effects....

PaulSimonon 12-22-2004 10:31 PM

Aprox. $420 with some of it shipped.

Saitoku 12-22-2004 10:32 PM

Good deal. I think I'd like to eventually get that nice 300w Ashdown MAG300 head and the matching 4x10. That's about $600. Right now all I've got it my Fender Bassman 60w, but that thing is really loud for a 60w, I have to say.

PaulSimonon 12-22-2004 10:34 PM

A better cab would be more costly, but would make it 300, another decent cab would make it 650 watts of output.

I love you Fox.

Lets see... I have 185$. :upset:

bottlerocket 12-22-2004 10:37 PM

Haven't put 'em on yet...I'll most likely do it tomorrow.

How often do you guys change strings? I boil mine every 2 months and had the same strings since April.
