Good night Butler.

Permanent Solution 10-12-2005 05:22 PM
Dissapointing. Completely.

There're maybe two songs on the album that still retain their agression and energy. It's for the most part quite mellow and boring.

And I think teppei was asleep when he wrote it. I haven't heard a single good riff.

Some people love it, though. Then again, some people are into being ****ed in the butt by a horse. To each his own.
I've heard comparisons to Radiohead's OK Computer. If it's actually like that I'm so psyched to hear it.

Gnarmageddon 10-12-2005 05:24 PM

Thrice can pull off a fast, heavy album so much better than a slow album.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:25 PM

I liked The Artist In The Ambulance because it was a good mix of heavy andcatchy songs.

"Paper Tigers" is awesome. It's so intense.

Gnarmageddon 10-12-2005 05:28 PM

I think every song on TAITA is intense. "Don't Tell And We Won't Ask" and "The Abolition Of Man" are my two favorite songs off of it.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:29 PM

Yeah, you're right. I love that album. Every song on it is excellent.

CD definitely dragged. It had it's songs then it had it's fillers IMO.

Permanent Solution 10-12-2005 05:31 PM

But I listen to a wider variety of music than most (if not all) of you :p

I hope I like it :(

I could listen to it on their myspace...but I don't know if I want to.

I'm with Brian. I thought every song was good.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:32 PM

You listen to a crazy variety of music, Vince.

I listen to a lot of different styles, but most are related to punk in some way.

Spence: TAITA is one of my favorite albums by any band.

I know

I like lots of Punk, but I like other stuff too. Thank goodness I was raised on good music.

Gnarmageddon 10-12-2005 05:38 PM

I've discovered so many good bands from MX. I can't imagine what I would be listening to if I never found MX. :(

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:41 PM

Everything I listen to branches off of punk. Ska, Emo, Hardcore, Pop-punk. Even Metalcore is indirectly related to punk.

The only things that aren't are the few rock and metal bands I listen too. :p

And MX has introduced me to so much music, it's incredible.

Fish 10-12-2005 05:48 PM

yeah thanks too mx, its where i found coheed and cambria believe it or not :p

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:50 PM

I learned about Coheed from a local radio station. Same goes for Punchline, Juliana Thoery, and a couple others.

Now that station plays all nu metal and Nirvana. :( It's still the exact same station, but they changed their style a bit. The only time they play good music is from 7 - 10 on Sunday, which is when they play up-and-coming bands. I heard SKSK on there the other day.

Fish 10-12-2005 06:00 PM

my local radio stations suck :(

well actually sometimes they can be pretty good, but most of the times its garbage.

Gnarmageddon 10-12-2005 06:02 PM

I NEVER listen to the radio. The only decent station around here used to be an oldies station that I would listen to occasionaly, but it got changed and now all they play is crappy 80's pop stuff.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 06:03 PM

I can't stand the radio anymore, but it did help me to get into a couple bands I listen to.

Fish 10-12-2005 06:04 PM

yeah i rarely listen to it anyway, except at like work and stuff, thats about it.

PDWAB 10-12-2005 06:07 PM

sup d00dz?

Gnarmageddon 10-12-2005 06:09 PM

Ha. Joel, both you and The Tway are dressed up as Sweboy. And there's still almost 3 weeks until Halloween.

Not too much is up. How have you been, Sir Joel?

Edit: Swejoel.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 06:09 PM

Oh no. Joel has Sweboy's avatar, Dan has Joel's, Adam has Dan's.

I'm really getting lost. :(

The Halloween idea is cool though.

Shoot, I should change so as not to confuse anyone.

cbmartinez 10-12-2005 06:10 PM

I got Halloween'd too.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 06:11 PM

I changed to my old avatar. We'll say that I dressed up as the throwback version of EmoScreamoPunk. Haha.

PDWAB 10-12-2005 06:11 PM

Ok better maybe?

Jom 10-12-2005 06:11 PM

Hello, children.

Oh my, everyone's everyone else!

/thought explosion

Mute Print 10-12-2005 06:13 PM

How's it going Jom.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's a bit confused.

I just realized that was Joel and not Vince. I really hate this. :p

Okay, sure.

Are you going to use my Evergreen Terrace avatar/title, or this one?

I like all those except punk.

Punk is really, really lame. Although I can stand some really punky hardcore (like Panic), but that's it.

cbmartinez 10-12-2005 06:23 PM

Jon, I still have your "omg liek u r sew dum" saved from last halloween.

Jom 10-12-2005 06:23 PM

I'm doing alright, thank you. And yourself?

Eh, I listen to very little punk. I mostly listen to anything related to it. There are few punk bands that I really like.
