Or, just ignore assholes. I usually find that works pretty well.

Futuro 08-30-2006 02:08 AM

I just spent 5 hours on my practice pad outside.

You know you have just had a nice drum workout when you take new sticks, and when your done you can't tell what brand they are

Janeway 08-30-2006 02:22 AM

I love how everybody corrects my name but me.

It's appreciated, though.

I'm determined to start drinking my coffee black.
I'm sick of being a pussy.

If your coffee goes into liquid form you are a pussy. Gotta be a man and down the coffee beans like tylenol.

stevensonmat2 08-30-2006 02:32 AM

Haha, actually chewing flavored beans like french vanilla tastes pretty good.

Futuro 08-30-2006 03:36 AM

Oh my god. My friend came over to show off his new Tshirt.

It says "Jesus was emo" and he is nailed on a cross with a crown of thorns, and Jesus's caption says "Daddy wasn't there".

Drum Phil 08-30-2006 06:16 AM

Hey kids. Im off to the coast for a couple of days today.

shablul 08-30-2006 06:28 AM

That is stupid, but the Christian right is really getting over on this country. I mean, when Christianity is being brought into mainstream politics...that isn't good. Religion has no place in our political system.

Kronos 08-30-2006 12:00 PM

You can see the effects of that with the Islamic world - and it isn't a pretty sight at all

Drum Phil 08-30-2006 12:01 PM

Im beginning to think politics has no place in our political system either.

Its all bollocks in the end.

Kronos 08-30-2006 12:05 PM

I've been of the opinion for some time that there's something intrinsically wrong with people who feel the need to become a politician in the first place. I hate them all really. But I realise the alternatives are worse or eutopian ideals which won't work.
So we're buggered.

Drum Phil 08-30-2006 12:07 PM

"The desire to be a politician should instantly bar you from ever becoming one" - Billy Connolly

Kronos 08-30-2006 12:10 PM

Yup, that's the conundrum!

Didn't know he said that, honest. I do occaisionally have original thoughts..
..I think....

maniac0796 08-30-2006 12:11 PM

For £199 (about $375), it's not bad, and it's not like i use it for competitions
It does the job so why should i pay alot more for something that is lighter and has a better bell or something.

White 08-30-2006 12:22 PM

for 375 ya thats not bad, but I would recomend a chan guard and a new drive train system on it, makes things alot better

trysthedrummer 08-30-2006 12:23 PM

Yeah, I like it. It's better than mine, it has a bent wheel thus gets stuck when it hits the brakes.

maniac0796 08-30-2006 12:25 PM
for 375 ya thats not bad, but I would recomend a chan guard and a new drive train system on it, makes things alot better
Nah, don't need a chain guard. I wear shorts all year round. Yeah, it could do with better gears and brakes. I'm gonna be changing the brakes next.

My dad just brought home the tastiest apple pie ever... I need more appley goodness.

Janeway 08-30-2006 03:26 PM

Pff. My $75 Mongoose that I got from Wal-Mart when I was 9 pwns that.

I slept until 4 again. =/

Win A Rabbit 08-30-2006 03:31 PM

I'm back from camping. We roughed it the whole time. The people in the campsites to our left and right had big $100,000 motorhomes with bigscreen tv's inside. One even brought a huge trailer to hold all 3 of their Harley Davidson motorbikes.

We didn't use a single match or lighter to start a fire, and all our wood was found by me. We slept in a half-broken tent in sleeping bags, with nothing underneath us.

We are real men.
