You might want to fix that ASAP. |
I'm trying, but I can't figure out how now!!!!
Anyway, it's not that I want to buy just specifically newly released albums - I still buy a lot more older albums than I do new, for example. It's just, when it gets to the end of the year and people ask me what I thought, album of the year, etc, I always feel bad that I can't speak with authority on more than three or four releases.
That's when you just bull**** your way through a few sentences, stutter a bit, then ask them to look the other way whilst you bolt for it.
I saw a new commerical this weekend with the Burger King in it! It was sometime during the UofM/MSU football game. Man, that was an awesome game.
Yeah, those commercials you showed me were super funny. >_> <_<
Alright, if anything, this should grab Jelle's attention, since he likes little children. Sorry, though, the child I assessed is a boy :p And if you don't care about things like this, then don't bother commenting. Hell, don't even read it. /// For my child development class at uni, I had to run simple tests with a little kid and record their interactions/answers. The prof gave us a guideline for what we could use... either three tasks with one child or one task with three children. So, when I went home this weekend, I went to my church and got my priest's son to help me out. Since I know I'm going to get "WTF, priests can't marry and have kids, only molest them LOL!" types of responses from some idiots (not necessarily here, but if I posted this in The Pit...), I'm going to reiterate that I'm not Roman Catholic. So anyways, the different tasks we could do were moral reasoning (self-explanatory), representation (drawing figures, maps, etc.), conservation of matter (self-explanatory), and digit span (memorization of numbers 0-9 with flash cards, increase the cards by one until the child errs on two numbers in the set). Since my buddy is four, I figured conservation of matter would be easiest. /// The three conservation tasks I had to do involved conservation of liquid (pour into two identical shorter glasses an identical amount of drink, ask if they're the same, when the kid says they are, take one of the glasses and pour it into a taller, thinner glass... which one has more and why, etc.), conservation of matter (play-doh fun... are these balls the same... when they are, roll them into different shapes, ask if they're the same amount, roll them back into a ball, are they the same, etc.), and conservation of number (have the kid do as you do with poker chips, ask if they are the same [he should say yes, since he mimiced you], then smush his row together and separate mine out, ask if they're the same, etc.). /// And, it's picture time. This is my buddy Simon. Again, he's one of my priest's sons, and he's four years old. The first task we did was the conservation of liquid task. Again, I had to use similar, shorter glasses first, like so. Are they the same? He says yes. Now, I poured one of the shorter glasses into a taller glass, like this. Are they the same? He says no. Which one has more? He says the one on his right. I ask him why that one has more, and he says it's because the glass is taller. Even though this wasn't required, I asked him to make the tall glass and the small glass equal. He did this by drinking out of the taller glass. I should have poured the tall glass back into the short glass and watch him go  But then again, drinking three glasses of soda would have killed the kid, heh. /// Next we did conservation of matter. I opened up two new jars of Play-Doh, and asked him if the balls were the same size. He said no. I thought, "What!" but as soon as he held them up, he said that they were the same. Picture. Then, I took the balls of clay and had to transform them into various shapes. Each time, I had to ask if the balls of Play-Doh were the same. He said no every time, even when I rolled the shapes back up into a ball. /// Lastly, conservation of matter. To start things off, I stacked mine up and asked him to follow suit, and he did. Then, I told him, "Do what I do." I had to just make a row of poker chips. He did this quite well. I asked if our rows were the same, and he said yes. Then, I had to change our rows up, so I did this. I asked him if our rows had the same or if one had more, and he said that mine had more. I asked him, "Where did the more come from?" and he shrugged. /// Of course, I have to transform all this into a humongous paper, but this is a sampler. Hope you enjoyed :)
Haha, you're doing my girlfriend's course. :p |
Hahahaha, got it. Images restored.

 Insert gay joke here! |
Yeah I know. But these accidents involved my car.
The 1st one is when my brother rear-ended me when he parked behind me in the driveway. His e-brake failed and hit my car, I wasn't in the car. Second one was in the parking garage at school, and I turned too wide to park between 2 cars, and I nailed the car on the right's bumper and scraped some paint off. Third one I was backing out of the driveway, and my dad wasn't parked where he normally was, and I forgot he was parked there, and I crushed my driver's side fender. So, I can fix my fender for about 35 bucks cause I know a guy who can hook me up with a cheap fender. I can have someone buff out the paint scrape on my car for about $15, and my brother is paying the damages for when he rear-ended me.
This is what happens when women leave the kitchen. |

Go to "Tools" and go down to "Options". Select "Web Features". There should be something labled "Load Images". Across from it there is a thing called "Exceptions". Click it, and it will show you a list of web sites in which the images are disabled. Delete the site from the list to enable images. Mr. Self Destruct pwns. |

I wish that AudioScrobbler stuff worked with Real Player. Anyone know a similar program that does?

I have no idea. But just use Winamp, it owns all other media programs. Also, have you played DoD : Source yet? NP - Deathspell Omega - sacrilegious terror |
oooh trendy.

Also, have you played DoD : Source yet? NP - Deathspell Omega - sacrilegious terror
Sorry, but I'd rather use Real Player and not have the scrobbler. I despise Winamp and WMP with all my being. Yeah, I have DOD:S. It's quite a change from 1.6, more so than CS was from 1.6 to source. So far I have more bad things to say about it than good ones. They sped up the game to keep it fast paced, but at the same time made hitting people on the run nearly impossible with a rifle, sometimes even with an auto. Also, while we're talking rifles, they changed the accuracy of the M1 to render it a completely useless piece of shit. You hardly see any rifleman because no one wants to use it. I also am not a huge fan of the weapons models and skins. The ones in 1.6 look better, but that can be changed with customization. It is quite fun playing it on Source though. Funny as hell on Avalanche when you're Allies. If you lob a nade up the hill just right it will blow the nazi up in the air and he'll fly all the way down to the bottom. Very pleasing. It will just take some getting used to and some custom skins, then it will be tits. |

What don't you like about WMP? I think it rocks. Never used Real Player though.

It's mainly a preference of the way the library is organized and accessed. It's also buggy, in my experience anyway. Not as many useful features either. |

WMP? Windows Media Player is horrible, that's what I have against it. Winamp and iTunes are all I use. |
I like Windows Media Player, personally.

I agree with Jake here, Winamp is the way to go.
I despise Real Player. WMP isn't so great either. |

Sorry to hear that you like a program littered with spyware over a clean and well maintained program. Any reason to why you hate it so much?
Yeah, I have DOD:S. Hitting people on the run is most likely a bug with the hit boxes, as CS Source has major problems with the hit boxes as it is. Give it a updating or two to actually start complaining. Games are never perfect when they are first released, especially in the first week of play. |
