yea it probably will. but i have 120 gb on my labtop harddrive and i dont delete much. i mostly deleted most of my porn. Most of my downloads will be music and like maybe 20 movies. so lets say 30 gigs to movies and the rest to music. i have a lot of music to change up on, and my house downloads at 1mb per second so its so fast. im way happy,

I have a 1 tb internal as well, every weekend I spend a couple of hours backing up stuff on to my external and its a very liberating feeling as I watch that data fly across and I sip my glass of coca-cola.

I used it non-stop. I had my music on it and it was constantly being accessed, same with torrents, for over a year. The disk just stopped spinning and it was done.
