LLN is more terrible than not. The mystique around the label is 90% of the appeal. Belketre, Vlad Tepes and Seviss are the only ones I can really listen to.
No Torgeist? wtf are you gay? |
well of course, that's adb/mappy logic and is therefore foolproof
you gotta stop taking me seriously ****** also please don't compare me to adb i don't judge things based on asian genes, salt rating, and note per millisecond :) |

not black murder? they are my favorite LLN |
I don't remember if I like Black Murder or Torgeist. I'll give them another shot.
Mutiilation, Aakon Keetreh, Moevot, Brenoritvrezkorkwhatever and all those other bands can fuck right off. |

I thought Moevot was a joke the first time I heard them. It was like someone bought one of those halloween tapes from the dollar store, accidentally put it through the washing machine and then decided to see if it still worked.

I've only heard "Remains of a Ruined, Dead, Cursed Soul" but it was bad enough for me to never want to venture out further.
i actually really like that album. why do you dislike it?
because it's like listening to someone trying to learn how to play both the drums and guitar while someone screams along. |
because it's like listening to someone trying to learn how to play both the drums and guitar while someone screams along.
yeah the drums are pretty horrible, but there is a lot of good guitar work in that album that keeps me entertained. |
The first song seriously sounds like he's trying to teach a little kid how to play guitar leads. It's not that bad throughout or anything but it's still pretty awful.
|
that song is a shitty intro bro, go to the next song its better
|
Uh, I've heard the album.
Uh, I've heard the album.
oh okay. well each to his own. |
what is the essence of bm?
lo-fi production, muddy blastbeats, limited riffs, tremelo picking, shrieking tortured howls, naturalistic/satanist/pagan themes etc. basically the stuff codified by most of the bands belonging to the Norwegian second wave i.e., no room for innovation. it's not a genre that can be progressive without criticism. adding new timbral qualities and making it more musical in nature turns it into something else, though folk elements are more earthy and naturalistic so it is more in line with the black metal spirit. merging stuff like progressive rock and symphonic elements with BM just makes a bastardised child of what it originally was (yeah bands like Emperor don't matter to me). It was originally dissonant, it was originally ugly, and raw. putting a fucking saxophone solo in there gays things up surely someone here agrees with me, even if we differ on bands we like |
black metal is dead, Fenriz said it himself. ^^^ i agree fully actually.
