Well, like I said, it is a rarities collection, so if it's not your style you're least likely to get into it out of any of the albums.

I think all their stuff has been several notches above average nu-metal. I guess I just thought it lost the element of craziness for me. It seemed like a produced, fake craziness that eliminated what made them really stand out to me.

They had the right sound at the right time for mainstream radio and built up a solid fanbase.

Didn't Staind used to be more or less a hard rock/metal band? Their two most recent albums are pretty soft compared to their older ones. They aren't as good, either. :(

3 Doors Down, Staind, and Breaking Benjamin should still be a fun show though. 3 Doors Down is awesome live.

I've heard some pretty crazy things about shrooms.

I'm not into any drugs (alcohol/tobacco included) at all. I just don't see the appeal. I don't like the idea of being under the influence of something, and not really being able to control my thoughts/actions.

Alcohol has no effect on me except if I do too much I puke and I can get a little off balance. I only drink it for taste though (like wine with a meal or something). I don't do anything else. I don't get the appeal either. I live far enough away from reality without being on drugs as it is.

I can relate...

I've never tried alcohol, or any type of drugs, but I wouldn't want to if I had the chance. I have nothing against drinking a glass of wine or whatever, but it's people who drink to get drunk that I don't understand.

Yeah, if you're drinking something that happens to have alcohol in it, it's different than getting something because it has alcohol in it. I definitely don't like to get drunk. Did it once, puked, don't want to do it again.

I drink for the good times, its not unnatural. Theres been boose around forever. but what can i say, im Irish. Plus where i live theres nothing much to do

I have had bad experiences with alchol and weed. Now I barely drink or anything anymore. I drank because it made me have a better time than when I was sober. I think people that drink to get drunk are quite stupid, drinking a bit is ok but after a few times of waking up in someones back yard in a bush I don't see the oppeal either.
