Drum Phil 04-22-2006 05:21 PM

As if American idiot is still in the top 20 albums

Berk 04-22-2006 05:24 PM

Seriously?
God that album sucked.

Drum Phil 04-22-2006 05:28 PM

Yer :( Its quite a depressing insight into the music system. They sing about what they want for years, harly anyone cares. They go all faux anti-state and the state laps it up. WHAT THE FUCK?

Berk 04-22-2006 05:33 PM

I find it funny that there like 30+ years old.
And there still in there "Rebelious" stage.

Janeway 04-22-2006 05:39 PM

THIS IS BULLSHIT!
I haven't been inspired to play drums in so god damn long that it's not funny.
But guess what?
I WANT to play them today. So bad.
As a rule, I play at night. So I was going to wait after dinner, but we ended up going out, where I had some really awesome honey garlic BBQ ribs.
But we get home, and who decides to drop in?
My sisters fat ass friends.
So, now my night has been ruined.
I was going to play drums for a few hours and then switch over to practice sax until about 10, but NOOOOOOOO.
CAN'T DO THAT NOW!
As if American idiot is still in the top 20 albums
I hate when my sister has friends over and there like "Can I play your drums",
And yeah.....

Drum Phil 04-22-2006 05:46 PM

My sister doesnt bother asking. Usually i confuse them by removing drumsticks and pedal beaters beforehand.

Janeway 04-22-2006 05:48 PM

God.
I've already threatened to choke him if he so much as look at my kit.
If he goes down there, the first thing he'll do it take that big sexy Silver Fox 2S marching stick and hit my paper-thin O-Zone crash as hard as he can on the edge and crack it in half.
And then he wont give me the cash to buy a new one.
No.
He'll go over and use some god damn glue and tell me it's fine.

Drum Phil 04-22-2006 05:49 PM

So remove the stick from the kits general area.

Snarz 04-22-2006 05:49 PM

^^^Haha.Good idea.

Janeway 04-22-2006 05:51 PM

Yeah, but then I'd end up forgetting where I put it and lose them forever.

I love my favorite pair of maple sticks for 2 years before finding them in the exact spot I hid them under the couch.

Drum Phil 04-22-2006 05:52 PM

So put them somewhere prominent in your room.

I dont think ive ever seen your kit y'know

Berk 04-22-2006 05:53 PM

There like
"Wtf?"

Your set owns!
Yammies FTW!

Drum Phil 04-22-2006 06:09 PM

Snarz 04-22-2006 06:11 PM

Nice set...

I want to know the specs but I feel like it would be a wrong question lol...

Janeway 04-22-2006 06:19 PM

That floor top was actually propped up by my old baby books. It took a lot of effort to get it in that crappy position, thank you very much.

Panopticon 04-22-2006 06:34 PM

sixth chords are my least favourite chords

Berk 04-22-2006 06:35 PM

The only things computers are good for are MX and Porn.

Seafroggys 04-22-2006 06:39 PM
sixth chords are my least favourite chords
you kidding me? A6 is one of my favorite chords. I used that chord way too much in the rock opera i wrote.

Panopticon 04-22-2006 06:42 PM

they sound nice, but they're a bitch to play. I like C6 and B6...very jazzy...well MORE jazzy then the others.

Elmo McCheese 04-22-2006 06:46 PM

Diminished chords are cooler, gives you that "lady tied to the train tracks about to be run over" feel. If you know what I mean.

Janeway 04-22-2006 06:47 PM

If I ever become famous and hit the top of the charts, I'm going to make an album where every song on there ends abruptly and not on the tonic....
