It is more personal I guess. They're incredibly uncomfortable at first but you're suppose to wear them around the house and break them in. Also, you're not suppose to really wash them, lol. I've never washed the pair I'm currently wearing and I bought them over a year ago. I'm gonna give them a wash though soon. When I buy my new rawz from Japan I'll prob never wash them. There's also selvage (which is truly a gimmick) and chain stitching would add to strengthening the jeans.
