Oh god, The funniest thing happen too me just know.
I started playing along to some music and my sister litteraly kicks open my door and tells me to stop and I say "Fine whatever" and then she stands there for like 45 secinds waiting for me to get out from behind my kit. Wtf.

Janeway 08-28-2006 05:45 PM

Man, 8 pages on that topic would be easy. It's just an opinion paper, so you can pee all over it, throw in a few big words, and get an A.

I've been playing my tin whistle for the last hour. Effing Sweet. =/

It's extremely out of tune, though. It's in D, but it's almost an entire 1/2 step up. I don't think I can tune it with out breaking it.

Berk 08-28-2006 05:47 PM

I'm at my kit know, WIth my lap-top on my snare and I'm on my throne. 2 cule.

Aaron 08-28-2006 07:02 PM

haha nice, erky berk. how ya going? p.s. are you billy-howedell on msn? if so; speak to me! I say hi and you ignore me, lol.

I got ****ing drug tested at school today because they said I had weed on me. Complete bull****. Im out of weed anyway.

Maggot Dream 08-28-2006 07:36 PM
I use fingers. The thing that pisses me off most is people who use a pick with a bass. I mean, yeah, you get a different sound, but it sounds sh/t.
Some of the greatest bassists of all time use picks. Chris Squire and John Entwistle being first among them.

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 07:54 PM

Did you pass the test? Btw, I got busted by teh po po's with weed on me. Luckily I only got ticket. Phew!

Yeah dude. I havent smoked in a while.

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 08:28 PM

Actually I have two tickets, because I blew positive on a breathalizer as well. >.<
Not to be racist but im lucky im white. I live in NC and were I black or hispanic I would be in jail, or out on bail.

MXicanDrummer 08-28-2006 08:28 PM

My friend has th best luck. he usually carrys weed in his wallet and the one day he forgot his wallet they did a drug search at school.
Also, he had a cop behind him about to pull him over when another car blew past doing like 50mph over the limit and the cop chased him instead.

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 08:29 PM

Haha man your friend should quit testing his luck!

MXicanDrummer 08-28-2006 08:32 PM

Hes 17, weighs 310lbs and drove his Ford Escort wagon into a ditch during a huge storm and never got hurt.

Course his dad's a minister so maybe the Big guy's watchin out for him

Scratch that, I remember he once tore the back page out of a bible to roll a blunt....

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 08:33 PM

Maybe god likes that sort of thing...?

MeaninglessPhoto 08-28-2006 08:34 PM

haha damn dude.

Yeah, Steven I agree with you about the NC part. Although they take it a little bit easier over here by Garner.

when they do drug searches at my school they are only legally able to check peoples lockers...so if you keep it on you all the time, your clean, but if it starts to smell...then...yeah...

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 08:38 PM

Ah garner no way dude! I know two guys over there were forming a band! Well, im not sure now since the ticket but we were. Theyre cool as hell, got a house of their own and everything. Since I prob wont be able to play with them would you be interested in forming a band with them? I kinda feel bad about leaving them drumerless all of the sudden.

I might be interested. Do they live in the going towards Raleigh part of Garner or the going towards the beach part? I live in Willow Springs which is 20 minutes from Garner by Fuquay Varina. But yeah dude. Do they have a myspace or anything?

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 08:48 PM

Umm no myspace that I know off. They live in the going into raliegh parts, right off 70. Im going to call them tomorow and tell them my situation so I can get more info for ya if youd like me to.

MeaninglessPhoto 08-28-2006 08:49 PM

Janeway 08-28-2006 09:21 PM

Well...
I found a school for a career that I'm interested in, in state, with reasonable tuition. The American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in NYC.

I'm interested in it, but I don't know.

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 09:21 PM

Funeral service?

Berk 08-28-2006 09:23 PM
lol, guess whats why when i say "BERKK!!!!1!!!!" i get blocked, lol.
Whats the email?

Janeway 08-28-2006 09:25 PM

Yep. Good money, interesting work, and people will never stop dying.

MXicanDrummer 08-28-2006 09:32 PM

My dad owns a funeral home, I know a bit about the business....good money indeed.

Actually I got myself lost trying to deliver flowers to grave site today. Basically drove aorund in circles till the military honors guys flagged me down.

derryk 08-28-2006 09:46 PM

They should invent a practice pad that has a built in scale, or something. That way you could make sure EVERY stroke was even.

Except in height.. for that, I'd use motion sensors. Man, that would be an expensive pad.

ofDooM 08-28-2006 09:50 PM

oh man, that would be a sick invention...

Maggot Dream 08-28-2006 09:54 PM

That's actually an awesome idea. I'd buy it.

Wait, no I wouldn't. I don't have several hundred dollars to spare on a practice pad. Still a good idea though.

derryk 08-28-2006 09:59 PM

Yeah I guess. The motion sensors sound stupid.. for that, a good ol' fashioned mirror would be good for me. I just thought of putting my pad on a scale. I bet I could somehow make money off this...

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 10:00 PM

They have a pad that does something like that, read an article about it in drummer.

derryk 08-28-2006 10:01 PM

Well.. fuck you then
