I've only ever seen Cheeser in the Community thread one other time.
i usually wind up falling 10 pages behind, because i don't keep up with it, so i only post sporadically.
Duh. I swear, you kids and your hip-hop. I was into hip-hop and Johnny Cash before it was cool for punk rockers to be into them.
And I reiterate, will someone please tell me how to make a long user title?
I liked rap before punk and hardcore. |
I liked rap before punk and hardcore.
well i invented music. so there. |
Get on Soulseek.
I am. I don't see you. It may be because I have the newer test version of it. |
I liked rap before punk and hardcore.
I never really liked it. Only some bands that mix rap with some other style. I absolutely hate most rap. |
I liked rap before punk and hardcore.
my first 2 cds ever were Peety Pabolo (with that helicopter song) and Outkast "stanknia" |
Lynch me, you are the second Victim of the double team attack.
|
The bands that mix rap with other styles tend to suck.
example: nu metal. |
The bands that mix rap with other styles tend to suck.
example: nu metal.
Not all of them. Example: Soophie Nun Squad |
my first 2 cds ever were Peety Pabolo (with that helicopter song) and Outkast "stanknia"
North Carolina! Rise up! I love that song. Petey's the man. And Stankonia is genius. |
The bands that mix rap with other styles tend to suck.
example: nu metal.
Well, I was reffering to Bloodhound Gang and RATM. No more bands that I like (that mix rap with other styles). |

My first two cd's were Christ the Album vol. 1 & 2 that makes me more punk than you |
The bands that mix rap with other styles tend to suck.
example: nu metal.
eh, that's not because of something that has to do with the nature of rap so much as the stupid people who tend to do it. look at limp biskit (sp?) or linkin park (sp?). i tend to think of some ska vocals as rap-like. jesse michaels could rhyme with the best of 'em, and when you pay less mind to the the genre-barriers, some ska and some rap aren't as different as you'd think. |
Not all of them.
Example: Soophie Nun Squad
Never heard of them. But somebody agree with me, nu metal sucks. |
My first two cd's were Christ the Album vol. 1 & 2
that makes me more punk than you
well ya. my third cd was Kids Bop first edition. |
I started the avatar stealing when i took shannons every copys me. now its gay.

When I first joined I didn't post in the Community Thread.
That's cause back when, the regulars would harrass 'noobs' for coming in here. Yes, a vile crowd, those kids were. |
My first two cd's were Christ the Album vol. 1 & 2

oh man, i just realized i have no food, except ramen and a box of macaroni (which requires milk/butter that i do not have). i thought i had something left. i wonder if there's any parties i can crash with free food...

Healthy Body is kind of like teh rap. Ska and rap are alot alike. Cheeser has shown me the light... I still won't forgive you for spamming my Neil Young thread in my n00bhood. |

I thought you were vegan? So far today, I've eaten three bowls of Rice Krispies and a glass of tea. Tonight calls for hard liquor and barbeque meat in celebration of a nation I don't really believe in. |

you made a neil young thread  . Were was I? |
I also noticed that ska and rap sound kinda similar sometimes, but what does it matter? Punk can sound similar to every other genre out there and that doesn't mean nothing.
|
My friend just paid 45 bucks for the warped tour just to see the unseen and mike watt was there and he didnt bother to see him. I'm pissed

Well, he's an idiot. You don't have to be pissed. |

horay, forgiveness. yeah, i met exile and lokey (rappers, google them if you care) when they played at our school. they're cool guys, we hung out most of the night after they played. the crowd was mostly looking for loud mindless hip-hop to get drunk and grind to, and quite a few people were upset about the political/social lyrics. but anyway, point: exile was telling me that he loves 80s/early-90s punk, and that one of his favorite bands is op ivy. |
You don't have to be pissed.
And yet I am. |
http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219940
oh wow, i remember that now. to be fair, i was trying to help.
I also noticed that ska and rap sound kinda similar sometimes, but what does it matter? Punk can sound similar to every other genre out there and that doesn't mean nothing.
there's alot of genre mixing/overlap/whatever in music. it shows that if you weed out the punx separatists and the corporate/social stratification that goes on in music and in "scenes" there's really no difference between punks and any other kids in subcultures of a similar nature. the musical overlap just goes to show it. |
And yet I am.
Then, only solution is murder.
there's alot of genre mixing/overlap/whatever in music. it shows that if you weed out the punx separatists and the corporate/social stratification that goes on in music and in "scenes" there's really no difference between punks and any other kids in subcultures of a similar nature. the musical overlap just goes to show it.
There's a difference in the music they like and they have different ideals. I don't see what you're trying to say. |
Haha, Cheeser's disciple AndHagan posted in there.
|
You posted in there too.
I forgive ya cheeser. /gives a hug /bathes several times. |
Haha, Cheeser's disciple AndHagan posted in there.
I remember that fool |
He and RedMenace left the first time Cheeser got banned.
|
I remember that fool
That Clash hating fool. |
There's a difference in the music they like and they have different ideals. I don't see what you're trying to say.
what, cultural overlap doesn't compute in your brain? true hip-hop culture shares alot of ideals with punk culture and the music sometimes sounds the same.
RedMenace left the first time Cheeser got banned.
no, johnny got a new username and has been here since. and for the record, i do not have disciples. people who don't hate me aren't automatically my disciples, and i certainly take no responsibility for anything they say (unless they say something good, then it was definitely all me). |
