Here, low end bars/clubs sometimes have a metal grill in front of the stage. A fence really, but smaller latice. That is to stop bottles, etc when thrown.


You find this more in the south however.

just found a laptop downstairs, minus charger, so headed upstairs to find a charger that fitted, my speaker cable kinda matched, so i plugged it in (voltages almost matched, so i thought it would work) it worked, and started charging. this worked for approximately 8 seconds before the transformer literally exploded... thought that only happened in cartoons. my carpet has scorch marks....

This is reading festival. We do things differently over here. Because sometimes you get awesome bands play (like maiden did last year), but for the metal heads who have to hang around for it and have to put up with the emo, punk, indie, goth ****, get pissed off in their more than likely pissed state, and throw something so they can see the better bands play

Josiah, theres no fence cause its a huge stage. We have fences to keep the crowd back at most gigs but nothing to stop debris cause people tend to like stage diving/crowd suffering up to the stage.

I'm surprised it didn't happen at Warped Tour. All the fans of The Casualties and Anti-Flag were super hardcore pissed at all the emo kids and their emo bands..I thought I was going to see some fights or something, but it didn't happen at either of the Tours.

It is always funny to see some old fat guy in his home-made, sleevless denim jacket with studs and patches of his favorite punk bands looking at the line to get in with disgust on his face and proclaiming "****ing emo kids =/" to his similarly dressed friend though.

Meh, music taste fight. I'm gonna quit here and hope it doesn't develop. I'll stick to what i like, and you stick to what you like.

In class when you're asked for your homework just stand up, put on a rediculous accent and start freestyle rapping on any topic, preferably something to do with bling. Keep saying that word. And make sure you rhyme a word with itself at least 3 times in a row.

I like how they photoshopped it so the trash looks like it's part of nature.


The falls aren't spectacular at all, but Goat Island is the coolest place ever. They haven't got any security guards there, and nothing is railed off. You can just walk anywhere on the island, which is infested with black squirrels and tons of birds.
And at the eastern most side, theres a little beach with these massive rocks that are about 5 feet tall, that are connected to each other by fallen trees. It's effing surreal there.

And I want to go again.
