This already basically happens in Canada, there are open spots in medical and dental school for aboriginal students and they are almost always vacant, never being filled by more capable and more motivated non-aboriginals. :/

For the majority of those spots, they have to meet the same requirements as other students.

My friend Jeremy had to sit through an extra 2 years of pre-med, even though he had a 4.0 average and some of the best letters of recommendation I've ever read, because he wasn't a minority. His buddy, of Mexican descent, had a 3.5 average and was probably very lucky to receive those marks from the sounds of it. Mexibuddy was accepted right away.

Jeremy finally got in and graduated in the top 1%, his buddy flunked out in his first year.

It's probably the Curve. Very similar, though. I'm considering getting the Curve instead when I switch contracts on July 9, but my mom has the Curve for her business and it feels kind of cheap to me. Maybe I'm just used to my old-school Blackberry that feels like a granite brick (both in weight and construction durability).

I dunno, from what I've seen in my research, there are other things as functional as the iPhone, but nothing that does it quite as well and effortlessly. And what keeps coming back to me is that its actually fun to use. Plus I can get a big discount on it.

I think over here you pay like £35 a month for the 16GB iPhone over an 18 month or 2 year contract.
