Also if I could suggest something, do double doors for it. Not like, two side by side, but door then another door. You get that in rehearsal studios and stuff. Top shelf recording studios often have just one insanely thick door. Doors are a key weakness in soundproofing.

I know a few people who are practical, but this is a long term project so I’m almost tempted to do a night-course or something to find out how to do stuff myself. To soundproof the big door I'm going to put a false wall inside, and have the door be metal on one side, then basically 12"-deep rubber on the other that fills the same space as the false wall.[/FONT]
