i dont have any lying around you have any other ideas, i did it in paper, but when i spray painted the sides just curled up and the stencil looked like ****

Those manilla file folders work for me.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 10-08-2005 12:16 PM

My mom is a sonagrapher, so she gets me old x-ray film. It works really well, just a bit hard to cut.

RudeBoyStompin 10-08-2005 04:49 PM

Thin posterboard works pretty well. If you want to be able to use the stencil multiple times you might want to use acetate, though it's a little expensive.

Anti-Prefix's avatar inspired me to make this stencil.

Flagjacket 10-09-2005 05:44 PM

Isn't that a riot folk symbol?

I am too, I'm more hippie than Punk by far.
I want to stencil a dove on my cardigan.

skinnedmonkey 10-09-2005 09:04 PM

How can you be a hippie and a punk? Don't most punks despise the things hippies stand for, or the way they go about showing it, I know I do...

Zion Gates 10-09-2005 09:08 PM

i made my first stencil (gorilla biscuits) ...and put it on my this briefcase where i put my bass pedals + other bass junk in. Kinda like a pedal board i guess. Didn't come out very good, so i sprayed the spray paint from high up so that it looked like the bad stencil work was on purpose to add to the effect of the scattered spray paint. Btw it looks alot worse in the photos than in real life.

Not as far as I'm concerned. If anything hippies were the punks before punk was founded to me. I think if you look into some of their ideals they can be pretty similar.

This is just my opinion though.

Why're you always so mean towards me? I was just saying that aren't most hippies loving of most things, and most punks hatefull of most things? I mean correct me if I'm wrong, but please do it in a non-derogatory manor.

That comment was meant to be 'mean' towards him, not you.

And I was probably 'mean' to you in the past because you broke rules or did something that got on my nerves.

skinnedmonkey 10-09-2005 09:36 PM

O, sorry my bad, now I DO feel stupid.

Zion Gates 10-10-2005 07:13 PM

is it just me or is http://stencilpunx.mattrunningnaked.com/ not working?

Flagjacket 10-10-2005 07:48 PM

It's broken for me too.

Ghostfire3 10-10-2005 08:19 PM

Yeah, I can't get it to work either.

TheNowhereman42 10-10-2005 09:01 PM
anyone ever notice that floss > thread for sewing?
Everyone tells me that, but I've never actually tried it. I just use fishing line.
