So hardcore ended late 80s then?

tornpictures 08-29-2005 05:24 AM

Har har har.

whiteminority 08-29-2005 05:53 AM
Yes but that isn't the point.

The point of hardcore is basically DIY, and that's why I'm in hardcore.
Hardcore was about making music the way that you wanted and DIY was something that they took from punk. Dude just because a band isn't underground doesn't mean you shouldn't like them, some of these bands deserve to be out of the underground (there is a reason some bands are popular and not all of them sold their souls.)

"Imagine if you put a pair of human testicles in a time capsule and it was found millions of years later, when humans had died off or evolved away from traditional scotum encapsulated testicles. If these future people decided that this is what we called "DVDs" would they be right?"

hahhahahaha. nice statement Dfelon.
Alabama rules. I just discovered how many more emo bands are from the Bay Area. Off the top of my head:

Comadre
Funeral Diner
Yaphet Kotto
Hoover
Reach Out

People tell me more.
Hoover were from DC.

Greyhouse, Sinker, Amber Inn, The Pine, Indian Summer (I think), Ordination of Aaron, Policy of 3, Heroin

tornpictures 08-31-2005 05:00 AM

Ah my bad. I'm not sure if Heroin came from the Bay Area or SD.

Life at these Speeds are also from the Bay Area.
