What is the difference?
B tuning = BEADGB or BEADF#B
Drop B = B, F#, B, E, G#, C#

manuscriptreplica 07-22-2004 08:31 AM

Welcome to Hell! The original classic! Far better than Black Metal, I think.

GraveRobbersINC 07-22-2004 08:35 AM

 Never, Black Metal is the best album of all ****ing time!

Corporal Compendia 07-22-2004 09:41 AM

At War With Satan > Black Metal > Welcome to Hell by miniscule amounts for each...

Though all 3 own really.

GraveRobbersINC 07-22-2004 09:45 AM

Well At War With Satan is about a 2 mile bike ride. Welcome to Hell could take all day to get to.

AParanoidIronMan 07-22-2004 09:47 AM

black metal > welcome to hell > at war with satan

although this would be reveresed if you took only 1 song from each albums and stood them next to each other

at war with satan > in league with satan > buried alive

manuscriptreplica 07-22-2004 09:48 AM

Heh... Welcome to Hell is more thrashy, whilst Black Metal and At War With Satan are just in a genre of their own. Black Metal is cool, groovy metal, which is very enjoyable, but I reckon Welcome to Hell owns it severly.

DimebagDarrell 07-22-2004 10:01 AM

Black Metal then Welcome to Hell for me i havent heard enought at war or in league iwth satan too say how much i like them

RCA 07-22-2004 01:46 PM

I'd go with At War With Satan, since that'd be the easier choice for you, but definately look into getting Welcome To Hell.

JMetallica 07-23-2004 12:40 AM

Black metal is ownage. The song is venom's best. :D

RCA 07-23-2004 12:55 AM

^^^ Agreed.

RCA 07-23-2004 01:08 AM

Sorry for the double post, but have any of you heard of Deathchain? They're a thrash/death band from Finland. Check em out! www.deathchain.com

GraveRobbersINC 07-23-2004 06:10 AM

Deathchain is pretty good, their lead singer reminds me of the guy from Zyklon.

DimebagDarrell 07-23-2004 02:38 PM

Anyone heard any O.L.D.? if so any good?

Ratmevilempire 07-23-2004 03:55 PM

Anvil! Razor! Exciter! Infernal Majesty! War Machine! Goat Horn! (and more)

There will never be a better Canadian show than this again. Only bands it's missing are Voivod, Sacrifice and Slaughter. (Both Sacrifice and Slaughter have been in talks about a reunion too!!)

SHAME! on anyone in Ontario that's not going!

ANTHRAX Set Release Date For 'Metallum Maximum Aeturnum'

ANTHRAX singer John Bush has been in the studio finishing up the vocals for the group's upcoming collection of Joey Belladonna/Neil Turbin-era songs performed by the band's current lineup, dubbed "Metallum Maximum Aeturnum". According to guitarist Scott Ian, the band may change the title of the collection to "Old School, New School, Our School: Metallum Maximum Aeturnum" or "Metal Thrashing Mad: Metallum Maximum Aeturnum". "We'll mix it when we get home after Budapest and it's scheduled for release November 8 in Europe and November 23 in the States," he said. "Australia is in there as well. Both releases will have different extras. I think the Japanese release (a week before Europe) comes with a puppy."

GraveRobbersINC 07-24-2004 10:12 AM

Cool, be interesting to see the new guy do the old stuff. I wanna hear him do Caught in a Mosh.

GraveRobbersINC 07-24-2004 10:44 AM

Hey, Metallica is coming to chicago next month. Do you think it would be a good show to go to as my second real concert? They still play some of the old stuff and I've never seen them live before. What do you guys think?
