Fennario

The least obvious of the Grateful Dead references.
I think the case is that if you know one of them, you know all of them, just as it seems to be that people either don't listen to the GD, have their best of, or have their entire discography, and pretty much nothing in between

It seems that you either don't like them or you are a deadhead, and not much else in between

Of course I say this as a generality

EDIT: Nice avatar jpj, it took me a while but I get it now

"C'mon man, he made Thriller. Thriller!" - Dave Chappelle

Also, Grateful Dead contests? C'mon guys.

Illmatic 10-16-2005 06:57 PM
Thriller's a brilliant album...a lot of his work with Jackson 5 is very good as well, if you're in to that sort of stuff. He was so talented before he became one of the most screwed up people around.
The Jackson 5 are right up there with James Brown in the pantheon of "most sampled artists"

So are you black or Mexican?

BludgeonySteve 10-16-2005 07:00 PM

Thriller is a great album. When Slash and Eddie Van Halen ask to play on your album, you know you're good.

JonG 10-16-2005 07:02 PM

But Guns 'N Roses isn't good

:)

BludgeonySteve 10-16-2005 07:05 PM

I like them. :)

Glitterati 10-16-2005 07:05 PM

The guitar solo in Beat It is so awesome.
Heh, thanks.

Neither :upset: Just things I say.
*aren't
No, it's "isn't". Guns 'n' Roses is a collective noun, and is singular. Like "group," "gang," "herd," etc.

And I clearly have the best location.
Yea there's not really much there. It's a nice little monument and maybe a couple burnt out hippies playing guitar. On December 8th its supposedly really crowded with people paying tribute but I've never been there then. Maybe I'll go this year since it'll be 25 years.

I like my location.

Edit- Nevermind Magicbus wins for the location. I've got a better one I'm about to change to. Strawberry Fields is a small monument for John Lennon in Central Park.

I was going to go theis Dec. 8th, but I probably won't because it is
a) A school day
b) expensive
c) a little bit scary

Everyone has incredibly kick-ass locations.

It would be great if none of us knew what each other was wearing/looked like, but we established a secret question/answer that reveal one as an MXican

Not as cool as the Woodstock idea, though

EDIT: I really don't mind if that's your location I was just being an asshole :)

Oh, and I'm leaving for a class trip tomorrow and can't find my CDs, so I'm burning some good mixes. Any suggestions for Beatles songs? (any other bands would be good too :p ) I need them ASAP so I can dl/burn them. Thanks in advance :D
