Vodka on it's own is good for little else than a scorched throat and getting drunk swiftly. It mixes very well with other drinks though, as it has practically no flavour of it's own.

Vodka + Irn Bru = sickening. Its so bad. I personally am trying to make an awesome Irn Bru based coctail, but nothing has worked so far.

By all means try it (I'm assuming you mean vodka), as you never know, it might be just your kind of thing.

If you don't mind paying a bit more, you can get higher quality vodkas, anyway. There's a French one (which I haven't tried) called Ciroc which is made from grapes instead of potatoes, and is supposed to be very smooth and sweet. Quite a few Polish vodkas are better than the average, too. Knowing Polish people can have advantages.

By itself though? No, I think I'd have to find something to mix it with...
and didn't you say it gets you drunk quickly?
