What do you reckon?[/QUOTE]

You are incredibly tall? Generally having cymbals above the shoulder level is asking for problems...

White 04-21-2006 11:32 AM

I gotta buy some new Beat, Then a Custom K Crash. Then A Good Practice Pad/Metronome, Mardching snare. and then done

Drum Phil 04-21-2006 11:37 AM

Im not incredibly tall no, but i sit pretty high. The crashes are just below shoulder height

Jezen 04-21-2006 12:08 PM

I spent 9 hours of my day today playing 'Heroes of Might and Magic 3'. Yes, France is that boring.

Wow, how does that work?

Drum Phil 04-21-2006 12:18 PM

Well im about 5"11 and sit kinda high so my cymbals are around should height, if not a little below

Talos 04-21-2006 12:19 PM

Same with me apart from my ride which is a bit higher

Futuro 04-21-2006 12:33 PM

All my cymbals are up over my head.

Where did you get a should from?

Janeway 04-21-2006 01:40 PM

Woot.
Going to see the Allman Brothers for the 5th time(I can't remember) August 15.
A whole five days before my birthday.

Elmo McCheese 04-21-2006 01:44 PM

Awesome, I saw the Allman Brothers Band at the Beacon Theater in NY last year. It was cool but they drag their songs on forever.

Janeway 04-21-2006 01:48 PM

It comes with being a jam band...
I wish I could have seen them at the Beacon. Darien Lake is...um...
A giant sunken hole of crap.

Maggot Dream 04-21-2006 02:40 PM

I'm probably going to see them this summer at Red Rocks. Saw them there last summer too, it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Help me guys. I don't know if i should buy a pro or intermediate kit.

I mean, i would love a pro kit and i don't want to waste my money upgrading twice.

I also don't really think i DESERVE a pro kit.

tell me what you guys think.

Futuro 04-21-2006 02:58 PM

If you have the money buy pro. If it is what you want of course...

If you get a sonor force 3005 you will be set forever.

Juicy_Forlorn 04-21-2006 03:24 PM

Faith I'm looking at your myspace now. I've listened to Dreaming Waves and I'm about halfway through Moonlight.
Everything sounds great so far. Too bad you don't have anything to actually record it with.

Come to florida and see us live.

We do the Pegasus alot.

Also these are only our shorter "radio style" songs. You would like our other stuff alot more. Our biggest influence is probably Porcupine Tree for the longer stuff.

Intermediate.

To reap the full benefits of a pro kit, you really need to have been playing for 10+ years. One of the main benefits you get when you get a pro kit is the enhanced tuning range. Tuning ability comes with experience.

Sounds like a plan. Florida is only a few hours away by plane :p.

Do you think you would be able to send me any of your other stuff? I have the guitar pro 4 demo; would I be able to play them with that? I'd like to hear some of the other stuff.
