actually, there is a middle ground, and I have already described that is known as each persons personal lives and relationships.

I only care for a few people dearly, which are my family and some of my real close personal friends. To tell me I do not care for them is a false statement riding only on your views of the world with the ignorance of knowing me personally hanging high above your head.

And in a world with over 6 billion people and various other factors such as time and money, that is hardly true. You need quite a bit of people to make a change in this world any more when it comes to helping human rights and such...

If you care about some humans, you can't be apathetic to others.

I believe you do, I also believe you care about the rest of the world too, you're just too lazy to fix the problems and so it lowers your quality of life to know that some people aren't as happy as those around you. It hurts less because it isn't a daily pain, but it's still painful.

Yet one person has to lead the multitudes in order to effect change. If one man cannot lead this revolution it will never come about. Change starts with an idea, and that idea is always rooted in one man.

I went on spring break. I came back and am being more myself. I guess you could say throwing up a front worked less than desirably and so I dropped it.

Well, at the core of it, I believe if I asked you if, given the choice to have sweatshops, or not, based solely on your choice, you would say no. Thus you can't be genuinely happy because there are still things you would change. But I'm content to leave it there. I don't believe, and never will believe in genuine happiness, so there's no need for us to debate it since you do believe in it.

I like that idea. Ignorance is the key to happiness. What you don't know won't hurt you. Everyone in these third world countries know how they got screwed into the spots they're in. Their governments don't have the funding and/or are too corrupt to support their country. The whole ignorance concept of ignorance is an ok idea to a certain extent. I would like to think I know my fair bit of stuff about politics, but if I really knew everything, I would be all depressed about how bad the world sucks and other crap. I am happy in my own little world in front of my computer.

We get field mice all the time. They come into the garage from the yard and camp out. I think a few have died in my car's machinery by now. It's what we get for living out in the good ol' Connecticut countryside.

Our house in Maine is no different. We had quite a wonderful sight to greet us there one time: a completely decomposed mouse corpse, with a curled-up, fully-formed skeleton surrounded by a pile of fur.

That was wonderful, let me tell you. It's a wonder the house didn't smell like crap afterward.
